I’ve been an angler for over 60yrs, and this is the first item I’ve ever found that does line spooling perfectly. Gone are the days of your missus holding the line spool on a pencil an burning her fingers as you reel in. This product is spot on for doing the job, using either 100mtr spooks or bulk spools. Suction cup is rock solid, so never moves when using the spooler. I would definitely recommend this as a ‘MUST HAVE’ item for any angler, as it’s invaluable. 10/10 to the maker/supplier👍🏻👌🏻

I speak as I find, This is a well made bit of kit, and it is very useful to me, but as the other reviewers say, the suction is a bit weak, there is a knack to it, dampen the cup, bit of spit does it , press down hard before flicking over the suction lever, 20 mins in and it is still stuck to my table top! negative bit, its a Chinese product but don't let that stop you!.

I have been trying to get a Daiwa spool winder, but found this by accident whilst searching for a suitable gadget to hep wind my spools and to hold my spools whilst making pole rigs, I was getting fed up of chasing spools all over the floor and sitting on them or trying to balance something heavy enough to hold the spool.Most of you will know what I mean when I talk about trying to keep tension on the line whilst trying to wind your reel and not have the spool running everywhere unless you drop it into a bucket of water, this is fine but you still end up getting soaked keeping tension on the line,This is perfect for holding most sizes of line spools up to 1/4 ounce, and the sucker cup holds it solid, I have tried on my wooden table indoors and it sticks like glue, now I will have no excuse for not changing my line when it is a couple of years old,this is an amazing gadget and folds up virtually flat when disassembled taking up very little room at all,I fully recommend this and every angler should have one of these especially for the bargain price on here.

So I was fed up of constantly having to get someone to hold the reel while I put new line on the reel found this.The suction cup is brilliant.The springs that hold the spool in place are good quality.The end tightners that hold the spool casing hold very tight so the it won't shoot off as your putting new line on.Used this for the first time and I am very happy with how it operates

Excellent bit of kit, having bought a new rod with a guy in the shop setting the line up for me... Soon finding out he hadn't done it with much care... I needed something to do it properly myself. I was fed up of the line constantly forming birds nests and creating indestructible knots!This was ideal, it puts tension on the line you're taking and putting onto the reel, which means it sits nicely, I also put this in a bucket of water, around 14-15 litre bucket, so half of the spooler was submerged. This has helped no end to get the line set correctly, and I have had no knots since. The quality of the product is good and the suction cup works very well, I'd definitely recommend this as a must for anyone using a rod. Even a novice like me can set a reel up perfectly with it.Highly recommended.
