You don't think you'll need the cane feature... until you do!
This is a fanastic monopod and it delivers everything it promises. I had used it multiple times for filming and pictures but recently, while on a shoot I messed up my knee something awful. Wondering what to do, I remembered that there was a cane handle attachment in the bag that I had almost tossed at various times. "What will I ever use that for?" I thought. Well, now it was a life saver. And it was so sturdy. I'm not a small guy and this monopod converted to a cane that was durable and took my weight. So glad I bought this.

Love Love Love... but..
I absolutely love the stability of this monopod. I photograph outdoor sports, which is pretty hard on equipment. After 10 years, old faithful gave out and I needed a new one. This monopod is a great purchase and I am looking on their site for more items.BUT - I screwed the monopod to the bottom of my larger lens and it is in their good. When I unscrewed the monopod, the screw stayed in. Can't get it out except with tools. What did I do wrong?

Good Basic Monopod.
It's a good monopod for hiking or travel, but the handle is not quite right. I drilled a hole in the top and glued in a riv-nut so I could attach a ball mount on the top for my camera. The handle is hollow, so need quite a bit of epoxy to secure the nut. As one other reviewer noted, the handle is upside down. I could flip it over now, but I put in a 1/4 nut and the other 2 holes are 3/8 and don't have another 3/8 to 1/4 adapter screw.Overall, I like it and it seems quite sturdy except the bottom extension is a bit too small. I am short so I don't have to extend it out that far, but if you are tall, it might be a bit wobbly.

Light weight!
Light weight, but could be a little more stable with a larger camera.

Well made, light weight
It does what it's supposed to do, nothing to get too excited about. Tripod screw has two sizes, one on either end and it works fine. It does take a while to use the tripod screw. I may later add a quick release plate. They also give you a smart phone mount which I wasn't aware would be included. it is totally worthless, but since I didn't expect it, It's nothing to get upset about. The friction rings have a thin bright red aluminum band which may not be good for wildlife, but you could just paint over the red or use some tape to cover them.Light weight, well made and looks and feels like decent construction. In my opinion a little overpriced, but thats subjective.

can have issues at airports
I really enjoyed having this on an extended trip in SE Asia last winter. My biggest issue was the rubber tip wore through rather quickly. On smoother surfaces the pointy part under the rubber that has worn through can become dangerous because it tends to easily slip on those types of surfaces. it can also be an issue at some airports because they think it's one of the tactical types with knifes in it. Can't seem to find a replacement rubber tip for it.

Very good monopod!
First, Amazon fulfilled this order and is a repackaged product that is missing parts. Thankfully, Manbily is making it good by sending me the missing parts. The monopod itself is well made, sturdy and lightweight. It fits into a backpack for easy transportation when not needed or storage. I highly recommend Manbily products.

Produit mal conçu
dès la 1ere utilisation dans des conditions de balade en foret, la tête en acier s'est dévissé... ayant contacté le SAV qui m'explique que la seule solution est un retour...Produit décevant

Finally found the best monopod
If you're anything like me, you have probably bought many different tripods/monopods or other camera mounts in an effort to cover off your uses. I had been looking for a lightweight monopod that would work for camcorder or camera, that could collapse into a small space. Extensions should lock well with a ring rather than lever that sticks out. I'd bought and tried a few options and finally this one came up in a search, what a find... ultra lightweight and fits in a rucksack next to my laptop, the locking rings are a pleasure and the whole setup is really sturdy. It was dead easy to use and really helped get some great shots. Love it!

Very versatile.
A disclaimer: I bought this primarily for use as a walking stick, although I will use it as a monopod from time to time. This is very sturdy, very light (thanks to the carbon fibre construction) and can extend to almost eye level. The reversible 1/4 or 3/8 screw gives the option for direct use with a camera or fitting an alternative head. The included mobile phone holder is an unexpected bonus (and quite well made), but the cherry on the top for me is the walking stick handle adaptor. It can be fitted in one of two positions, depending on the style of grip desired. There is also a handy carrying case included. The only drawback I have found is that when using this as a walking stick, the rubber foot covering the spike on the base of the monopod is NOT designed or manufactured for prolonged use. It wore through to the metal in just a couple of days. After some searching, I found a walking stick ferrule which fits OVER the existing rubber cover and is very hard wearing.Very happy with my purchase, so far.
