I was looking for a relatively cheap foot pedal for my stained glass saw. This works great! I have used it a few times and it really gives me a nice control on the saw. I did not have any issues with it sliding around in the floor, it stayed put although it is fairly light.I apologize for my naïveté, but I never used one of these before so I included a picture of how you plug it in. You plug the device cord into the foot pedal and then plug the foot pedal into the wall.I did not have an outlet close to me so I used a heavy duty extension cord and it worked fine.Overall: works great for my saw! The price was good and the product performs very well.

It works great on the router table, but the table saw has a relay so you have to step on the switch then switch on the saw. Just be aware. I needed it to start the table saw and it doesn't work for that on mine. It's a new Craftsman.

Works good. Has a cheep feel to it. Not much more to expect for the price

tengo 2 meses de utilizar el producto y ha sido de mucha ayuda, lo he conectado a mi sierra de marquetería y me permite utilizar ambas manos para sujetar la pieza de corte, tambien lo he utilizado para mi aspiradora cuando trabajo con herramientas de batería, el material de construcción es plástico no parece muy robusto pero por el precio cumple con su trabajo, importante mencionar que el pedal unicamente abre o cierra el circuito, es decir que no funciona para reducir voltaje. Trabaja con 110v - 120v y aparatos de consumo menor a 10A el cable es 16 por lo cual no sería recomendable utilzarlo con herramientas de alto consumo para evitar accidentes.

One of the terribly dangerous tools that should be pulled from store shelves are right angle grinders. They are spinning devices with potential consequence only inches from your dearly loved fingers. One aspect of added danger is the fact that the shut off switch on said grinders is often not a trigger but a slide switch that requires the operator to remove one hand which is controlling the little finger eating monster to enable shutoff. Well, said I, I wonder if there is a foot operated switch? Yes, and this is it! That's why I bought it, so I could continue to cut or grind unnecessary stuff while having a greater sense of safety. I just cut 6 sheets of plywood on my table saw and foresaw that it would be hard to reach the power switch with huge sheets of plywood separating me from the switch. I was so glad I had this remote on/off switch. It allowed me and my friend to start & stop cutting, to realign cuts, and to do so without awkwardly trying to duck under the plywood to turn the table saw on and off. If anything even begins to go weird, just back off and the power is off and you're safe!
