These were easy to put up! Both of my cats take a turn in the hammock daily. Plus I've had it up for several months and still no issues!

Strong steps but rope is not put on tight enough :( we had to re-wrap the steps and glue the rope so we only gave this 4 stars.

The media could not be loaded.  Really high-quality, solid steps for large cats. As other reviewers have pointed out, the included anchor hardware is low-quality. We had an anchor break in the wall and the threading on the screws is too short, leaving the mounted steps loose. I'm not surprised that many people reported them falling off the wall after a few days. After our attempt at using cardboard to fill the space and to make the connection tighter (see first clip in video), we switched the hardware out for Toggler Snaptoggle anchors. As you can see in the video, they are super sturdy. According to the manufacturer, they can withstand more than 250lbs, which makes us feel more confident that our lovable yet clumsy chonker can make it on top of and down from our bookshelf safely. (She has a habit of jumping up there and often needs help down, so we were looking for a way to ensure she can if we aren't around.)

Very straightforward to set up. I live in an apartment so I tried heavy duty command strips and they support it well and look great. Definitely worth it!

I bought these because they were the only ones that I could find that were like steps. All the other ones were either round, more like platforms or just really small. my cat has a bad eye so i didnt want them to be too small. I just wanted regular steps so my cat could go up to a platform we have.Firstly, the hardware wasn't great. My husband had to use his own hardware. Luckily he's pretty handy with these things so he had hardware that worked. He got it up on the wall and the cat took to it pretty quickly. Unfortunately, within the first 2 or so days the steps themselves kept coming loose from the back of the wood. On at least 3 separate occasions he had to use pins and other methods to reinforce the steps so they would stay on. They seem to be pretty sturdy now. But that wasn't without much manipulation to the product. I bought these in May. It is now September and the cord is starting to fray off of the step already. Also, my cat has also taken a liking to one particular step. And now that step is starting to (droop?) I don't know the best way to describe it. But you can see what I'm referring to in the picture. I'm afraid it will break off soon.Overall I would say, unless you have your own hardware and are able to reinforce them yourself, you should pass on these.

Sparky wasn’t shy about using his hammock as soon as we hung it! He’s a climber, so we bought 2 of these to encourage him to stay off the other furniture. The instructions were easy to follow and all the hardware was included. I’d recommend a drill and stud finder to make installation go quicker.

No matter how much we tightened the steps, they were still a bit too wobbly for our cats to want to use them. Maybe we have chonky cats…definitely will work for kittens and littler cats, maybe 6 lbs or less.

This looked cute but when it was assembled it was very weak and flexed a lot. one 10 lb cat was too much weight that it seemed like it will fall apart.
