Gwendy's Final Task: Stephen King, Richard Chizmar (Gwendy's Button Box Trilogy)

I lived the story line I have read the whole series. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for an independent futuristic mystery.

The 3rd Gwendy story sees the band of Stephen King and Richard Chizmar back together. And it works very well. Each of these books have taken place at different points in Gwendy’s life with varying outcomes. This final story is a very fine picture of getting older but still having things needing to be done before shuffling off this mortal coil. Taking Gwendy into out of space is a nice touch and one that makes perfect sense within the story. Didn’t even bother trying the “who wrote what” game. The two voices of the authors were seamless (or at least they were for me) in telling me about Gwendy’s final task.

This is book 3 in the Gwendy series. I really enjoyed the first book. I loved King's The Dark Tower series. When I found out there was a lot of Dark Tower connections in this one, I skipped book 2 and went straight to this one. It did not disappoint. I guess book 2 is next. This one arrived in good condition and on time.
