Awesome light
I purchased this light for added visibility on my lathe. The magnet is strong and the gooseneck works great.y only gripe is sometimes the light will unthread from the gooseneck depending upon how you turn it. Other than that, it's bright and works great!

Issue with the magnet but customer service was great!
For my usecase the magnet was too weak to mount it to the side of my mill. Whenever I moved the arm or was running mill the base would walk down the side, because the weight of the arm and light were too heavy. I would have recommend mounting this to a flat surface. One month after writing my review a member of their staff reached out and helped "right" the situation. I would definitely buy from them in the future giving the fact that they were so supportive and did right by me.

Hot!
Nice clean and bright white light. But very hot. Too hot to touch and that’s right where the on/off switch is. Magnetic base is okay. But not very strong.

Very bright light with a strong magnet
This light is super bright and well built. The goose neck stays where you place it and doesn't move. The magnetic base features an off/on switch making it easy to move around and place in different positions. I have it stuck to the switch conduit on my lathe and it doesn't move at all.

Strong magnet, bright light
I’m a big fan of these style of lights in the shop. The strong magnet attaches to my steel/cast iron tools and the light is bright enough to illuminate whatever you’re working on. Right now this one is attached to my band saw frame supplying light for my bandsaw projects. The neck is a little on the shorter side compared to some other lights I have but overall I’m very pleased with it. It’s a very strong magnet you won’t need to worry about the light falling off or tipping over while working. It’s the exact same LED light as my other ones I bought from a different vendor.

Nice Light, Just A Couple Issues
This is a nice light that is replacing a tiny magnetic work light that I was using. It puts out a good amount of light, but there were a few small issues that I had with it. First, when I was screwing the stem to the magnet, there was no provision for using a wrench to tighten it sufficiently. So it would come loose when I tried to re-position the stem. I decided to use a pliers and while I was at it I used some Loctite #243 Medium Blue Threadlocker on the threads for good measure. Also, where the flexible stem attaches to its threaded base, this connection appears to be secured by only a couple of dents made with a punch. This seems like a weak spot given the stress it will get when bending and twisting the stem. A couple of adjustable set screws may have been a better choice. We'll see.The magnet seems to be pretty strong. On its own it holds pretty well, but it would move if I tried to adjust the stem. So I grab and hold the magnetic base whenever I have to make an adjustment. I didn't want to risk getting my paint scratched up, so I applied some XFasten Wiring Harness Tape to the contact area of the magnet to prevent it from scratching. It is thin and did not seem to affect the grip of the magnet. The front and rear rings on the light were loose, but easy to tighten. All in all, this beats the tiny light I was using. After a few tweaks, I like it!
