A superior design, my new #1 hammer
Wow, this is a well designed and made hammer. It feels good in the hand. It is well balanced and at 20oz it has a nice punch. It has a nice length, which gives it a good bit of inertia and leverage. The head is special. Nail and tack pullers (back and side). A decent, flat face and the nice part is the magnetic nail holder for an initial drive. While I cannot say how long this will last in a constant use environment, this just became my #1 drive hammer of the nine I own. Some designer did their homework with this one.5 stars. If something weird happens in the future, like damage to the face or the handle breaks, I’ll return to this review to update, but for now, I see this lasting me for years.Note: I have been an Amazon customer for almost 20 years. I write all of my reviews to reflect my personal observations and opinions on a product. It matters not if I have purchased the item myself or if it was provided to me for review. My goal is to provide other potential customers as much real-world knowledge as possible to make an informed decision. In most cases I will return to my review in 6 months or less to see if I should alter my original observations. In no case will the cost of a product influence my opinions at all. In addition, I will try to include multiple images and or videos on each product, if practical.

I have a weird thing about my hammer's, dont you?
Very odd but will spare you you just should know I have one or two and tend to prefer wood handle but I thought ok I'll try it and honestly am really liking it a lot it's taking the stupid amount of abuse I put them through, and yes I use the crap out of all of them regularly, even if I have nothing to hammer I'll get my stress log out and hammer a hundred or so rusty stress reliever 16p nails into that lovely log and then for some reason all is well. For an actual test though I hammered a railroad spike into a chunk of Uber dry oak and it makes a wonderful sound not the spike( that has it's own sound) it's from the metal used I'm not sure I've never heard this sound from any hammer, it's a slight pleasant tiiinnng and it travels a ways... idk I'm weird with my hammer's I told you this, so judgment should be non-existent haha yeah right I get it though. I love this hammer it still doesn't have a single ding in the face I'm Not sure if that's good or not all my others are showing it after the spike test. Hu I dont know, I recommend it though absolutely do.

Great hammer, great quality, great value!
Full Disclosure: I received this product free of charge [Amazon Vine program] in exchange for my true, honest, and unbiased product review and evaluation, which follows:I ordered this hammer to replace my well worn (20+ year old) go to hammer in my tool bag. And this is an excellent choice for an everyday, go to hammer. Very well crafted with quality materials, this hammer feels great in hand. This is a well balanced hammer with a comfortable ergonomic handle. Has some very nice features that although might not be used daily are nice to have, like the side nail puller for seated nails and/or tight spaces, the magnetic nail setter/starter, and the solid rip claw that is great for demo work. And last but not least, it has a limited lifetime warranty. Bottom line, this is and excellent quality hammer that holds its own against more expensive rip claw hammers. It is a great value, and I highly recommend.

Great hammer for homeowner
A good addition to the ol' toolbox. This is a great hammer to have around the house for assembling stuff, DIY projects, quick repairs or hanging pictures etc.It has a magnet to hold a nail so you don't smash your fingers. The weight of the hammer is great and it feels balanced, it has enough heft to drive a large nail into a board no problem. The handle is plastic, I'm not sure I would want to use it all day to frame a house but for using it around the house the couple of times I've needed it, the handle hasn't been an issue.Great homeowners hammer without the hefty price of some hammers you see at the home improvement warehouse stores.

Fantastic Value Framers Hammer
My best dude friend owns a big framing company, he has a really cool hammer, but it was $300+ when I tag along I was tired of swinging a hammer from the 80's and saw this. $16 for an above-average framing hammer for light-duty applications. I'm not swinging this for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, but when I need to drive some nails or do a project around the house this has a lot more power than a conventional claw hammer. Fantastic price. It has 75% of the capability of my buddy's $300 hammer, pretty incredible value!

One piece, solid build for the casual user.
So first off, the hammer at first appearance seems very rugged. It's a single piece of metal, I'm guessing cast, but not sure, this will prove more durable down the road. It has little built in features like a side notch claw, and the nail holder on the head. I fully expect to get quite a bit of use out of this hammer. The downsides for me: The steel that it's cast from is rather soft. Just a few nails hammered out and I've already got quite a few scuffs/knicks in the head. Since the hammer is a single piece of steel to include the handle, the balance feels rather weird. Check out my photos and you'll see where I'm holding the balance point. It 'looks' fine but when you drive a nail, you're not quite getting the same ooomph as a normal wooden handled hammer. This isn't bad, it's still plenty usable, but takes a bit to get used to.Based on those observations, she's getting a solid 4 stars. This is the perfect hammer for the casual 'around the house' jobs, but I'm not sure it would hold up to a contractors use.
