Very sturdy
Grips well, although not always evenly. Trying to drill holes in wooden circles can be difficult as sometimes one side rides up although only marginally. Be aware that this is a large and very substantial (heavy) device which can be difficult to lift. Needs securing with clamps to a pillar drill for maximum benefit.

Good solid kit
Substantial, and will likely do good work supporting my bodging. The pin through the screw handle is loose and could easily be lost in transit. The cardboard packing was flimsy and much damaged in transit - some bubble-wrap would alleviate this small difficulty. Overall - pleased with the VFM.

Exactly what I required. Only problem is packaging. One corner smashed. But doesn't matter to me. Used it for a couple of weeks now and no problems
