Signature Fitness Cast Iron Olympic Weight Including 7FT Olympic Barbell, 300-Pound Set, Multiple Packages

This is what $400. gets you in today's market, no frills iron plates you would find in any gym, and a basic 7ft nonspecific bar with decent bearings. This is not a sexy multi-color rubber bumper set, but you're not going to complain when you're getting twice as much at a fraction of the cost. The weight plates and bar arrived in a crate, each item wrapped separately in plastic and cardboard. The bar was wrapped really well using several layers of bubble wrapping and sheet plastic then secured in a hard cardboard tube. I am happy with the set, and once the half rack arrives, I will put it all to work.

The weight set was delivered approximately one week after ordering. The entire set, including the barbell, arrived in one wooden crate. Everything was included with no items missing or damaged. Only downside to everything...and this has nothing to do with the weight set itself...was that the crate was delivered at 5AM in the morning!! I'm an early riser (luckily) and heard the freight truck in my driveway and was able to go out and help with the delivery.Regardless, very happy with the set and the speed of delivery.

Firstly, I experienced an extended delay in receiving the product from Amazon. Upon its arrival, I faced several challenges.Moving the product to my room was a physically demanding task due to its considerable weight. It would have been more convenient if it had been packaged in multiple parts rather than a single case. Unfortunately, during the process of moving the heavy product, I injured my back, which was quite painful.Additionally, I found the design of the barbell to be problematic. When using it for bench presses, it caused discomfort and pain in my hands. Similarly, while attempting squats, the barbell's design seemed to contribute to discomfort and strain in my shoulders.Lastly, during my workout routine, specifically when performing yanks, I encountered difficulties due to the barbell's surface not providing enough friction. This led to a less secure grip and, unfortunately, resulted in an injury.

I have been looking to upgrade my old weight set for a while to 2 inch, Olympic style weights. I bought style A, which reminds me of the first sets of Olympic weights that I used as a teen in the local gym in the 90s and early 00s (just cast iron weights, no rubber coatings). Great set, great bar, looking forward to years of use. Pair it with a couple of other great pieces of equipment off amazon and you can have a great home gym for under $1K. Shipped to Hawaii without issue. Weights showed up separate from bar, but it all made it here fine in about 2 weeks. Very happy customer.

It's strong and I will get stronger with this, but the price was a bit high, but I'm still satisfied with my purchase.

Alright so as far as the weight set goes that's 5 stars. They look nice, and are weights. That's all good. As far as everything else, buckle up... thru shipped 3 weeks after I ordered, the bar came first, the most weights came a week later and the final weight plate a week after that. The bar was the right item. I ordered the black style A for my husband for xmas. I got sent the silver. I asked to get the correct item sent out and they offered for me to return these and reorder and wait another 3-4 weeks. I ended up settling for a 15% discount while I waited to see what my husband wanted to do (he got an early present). Finally opened up all the weight plates today after we decided we will keep this set and found out the 10lbs plates are the 1 inch holes not the 2inch like all the others. I asked to get the correct plates sent to me and was told I'd have to return the entire set. This experience has been terrible with Amazon and I would not recommened buying from this seller! I should have listened to the other reviews on this. I found the single plates sold separately and ordered those (which they also told me was not possible as the brand didn't sell them individually, which is a lie). They offered more money back for my inconvenience. Didn't ask for money back just wanted my plates but that was all they could do for me. Buyer beware.

This weight set is the real deal. It is the best. The only problem is with the cheap shipping company the vendor uses. First time they sent my entire set back because they damaged it. (Without me even looking at it) How are they going to damage metal plates? It was probably fine. So I had to order again. Then a few days later a shipping company calls and schedules the delivery a week later. You must be present to sign for the delivery. THis is ridiculous. On Amazon and on the phone call they said between 2-5pm. I waited and waited....and around 6pm I get a call saying they will arrive in 30 minutes. They did. Just be ready for the hassle taking delivery. I am taking 1 star off for delivery not being simple.

I was setting up my first home gym and so many barbell options were extremely expense either in price or shipping. This set is not only a great price point but is a great set of weights. I have been using it for a couple of months now and couldn’t be happier. Everything arrived in smaller packages (something like 8 or 9 boxes total) so it was pretty easy to move to my garage area and set up.
