It doesn't do any of those things. Use your common sense if you have this product. If you have to take your bird out to the car use a carrier cage and seatbelt to secure. You don't have to use it in the car - can use in the house over a couch arm or chair.

It sits just fine on a table. It won't fall over. My bird uses it just as much in the house as he in the car, he is a conure. Hope this helped.
