Awesome Resin!
I've been on a quest to find an affordable, reliable resin for crafts (jewelry making, molds, etc). I was previously using UV resin from Amazon sellers and so frustrated with inconsistent results like the resin warping, remaining tacky or shrinking in the mold. I was a little intimidated to start with two part epoxy, but I have fallen in love. This Art Pro is a simple 1 to 1 mix by volume- I combine both in a disposable cup and mix thoroughly for about 2 minutes, scraping sides and bottom as I go. Then, I transfer to another cup and mix again for another 2 minutes. After that, I wait a bit to let any bubbles rise to the top, and I'm good to go! If I'm using resin to fill molds, I will use the flame from a long BBQ lighter to pop any remaining bubbles at the end. It usually takes about 8-12 hrs before I can gently unmold (it may take another day or so to fully harden). I have been SO happy with the results. My pieces end up crystal clear (remember a torch, heat gun or lighter helps with bubbles), rock hard and just gorgeous. They also include a little FAQ/instruction sheet that should help with any possible issues. Give it a try and hopefully you'll like it as much as I do!

Easy to use
Used MAS epoxy art resin. Le res white pigment. Mica powder various colors and brands. Light house from Amazon. Although Amazon had seagulls I got them somewhere else that were a little smaller. Row boats shells star fish from Amazon along with stairs to lighthouse. Dolphins I made with clay from Amazon. Then made a silicon mold, silicon from Amazon. and used fast cast resin from Amazon to cast. Painted dolphins with acrylic and uv resin from Amazon. Rock were purchased from Amazon along with the beige sand on the beach. Rubber glove best ones 4 mil. used from Amazon, silicon cup and disposable cups for resin, heat gun purchased from Amazon along with stir sticks. Since I was new at doing this I should have bought larger quantities of gloves, cups, stir sticks, resin. Made a lot of mistakes and made big messes. Cover your work surface beyond project area properly and fully.

Hit or Miss
I needed a larger amount of Resin for a project. I had high hopes due to all the great reviews. For me unfortunately this was a struggle to use. The epoxy itself definitely is thicker. For some reason when mixing it started to thicken way to fast and does not allow me any decent down time to mix colors, etc. I personally used this for Resin Art Crafts, not a huge tabletop. I found the best method for me to use it, was to dip the silicone container in hot water, this did make it soften and unbubble perfectly and came out clear, however it hardened extremely fast. I felt rushed trying to use this. The Company did reach out to me and give me pointers and try to fix the situation. Great Customer Service, I definitely appreciated it, however this definitely is for me and my mini projects. The few items I did manage to get done, came out flawless and I received compliments on how clear the Resin cured. But work wise, I don't see myself using this in the future.

Good product, BUT.....
The product works fine as long as you stir very slowly to avoid bubbles. My only complaint is the odor. The odor permeates the air for a very long time. I was quite frankly surprised because other reviews said it was very low odor. NOT true. Please wear a protective mask as to not breathe in this resin. I had to tell my pregnant daughter to leave the garage because I didn’t want her breathing the air. It was that strong.

Highly recommended
I really love how easy to use MAS Art Pro Epoxy Resin and Hardener is. I can mix it with just about anything and get amazing results! Is is crystal clear when it dries. The only thing I would recommend is to make sure the epoxy is COMPLETELY dry before adding more on top or it will remain tacky. I have included one photo of a partially finished picture that I’m making, that shows how clear the epoxy is over wood and the transparency when certain colors are added! The finished product will be amazing!
