Let me start by saying I have always had very large calves. I look like the Incredible Hulk in peddle pusher pants. But when I noticed my legs started to really swell up at the ankles I knew I had to do something. I went it the doctors and he told me to get some compression socks. I looked around my town and couldn’t find any that would fit me. I tried going to a medical supply store and they wanted $65 for one pair of socks, and I don’t even know if they would fit me. This is when I went on Amazon and found this set of socks for $20. Needles to say I bought them right away. They are a little hard to get on at first and they feel a little tight at first, but they really help my legs feel so much better. They also help reduce the swelling in my legs. I have terrible nerve damage so I get pins and needles pain in my legs. So I noticed that when I wear these socks that pins and needles pain is reduced or goes away all together as long as I’m wearing the socks.

The material is comfortable and cool against the skin. The support is noticeable. The most important thing is to take an accurate measurement of your calf muscle and then choose the appropriate size according to the sizing chart. These are a great value for the money. I got one black pair and two grey pairs. I plan on buying more of them now that I know they fit well and that they are sturdy.

These are not like the socks I get from my doctor but they are comfortable and easier to get on. I have very large calves. I’m 5’9 and weigh 260 size 9 1/2 shoe. They’re a little long in the foot but not much and come all the way to my knees. I’ve been wearing them for a month and happy with them, machine wash and hang to dry. Would buy again.

These compression socks are very comfortable and absolutely long enough to cover my calf.
