Very easy to install and very strong build. Install took maybe 15 minutes and that's because I had to look for my tools. Watch a video on YouTube as they explain it very well on the install. You can definitely feel the strong pressure as you close the hood. The hood opens up perfectly and there is no obstruction when closing the hood. Very happy with the purchase.

This is a very functional item, which is far better than using the prop rod. Quality is average, and it works well. I will say installations are worthless, however there is a video on youtube by Entense that makes it a lot easier. The trickiest part is sliding the flimsy wand they provide into the hood to attach the top hood mounts. I had to retape the mounts on the wand, so they didn't fall off into my hood when I tried the first time. Otherwise, the install is very easy, and they look great on my Elantra N! =

Does its job, made a YouTube video of the installation on my 2024 Elantra N - the part holding the metal nuts is extremely sharp and cut three of my fingers.After a couple weeks I did notice the strut in the right rubs the top of the computer plugs on the engine bay (barely). Long term I suspect it would do damage so I removed the right strut. The other side still holds up the hood.

This looked like an easy and cool mod... But the metal bar you use to try and line up the nuts into your car hood are extremely difficult to thread... While trying this I lost the nut and it came off the electrical tape used to hold it on... I am/was wiling to try and buy a new "nut" and contacted the seller and after asking me what piece I was needing I have heard NOTHING nor have I received a replacement.So I am giving up... I am putting all the insulation back into my bonnet and giving up on this "mod" its just easier to use the prop up hood than dealing with lost nuts forever left to rattle in your bonnet and it seems no options for trying to replace the ones lost.Move on and pass this item up unless you want extra rattles and noise from lost nuts in your bonnet and a non follow up from the seller if you ever have problems.

Installed on my EN and they have worked well for the last two months. The red doesn't exactly match the car's trim, but that is a non-issue for me, especially with the CF look the rods are wrapped in.Be warned the instructions are lacking in detail. Definitely look up an install video (Intense has a great one on YT).

Others on here maybe just installed wrong. I installed mine in 5 minutes and they are a perfect fit. Makes life 100% easier under the hood and it looks great too. If your on the fence with these for your elantra N, just buy them. You won't regret it. Best purchase on Amazon I've made in a while.
