Worked seamlessly BUT account setup on alexa isn't straightforward.I went straight to setting it up on alexa.amazon.com.When you go to enable it on alexa.amazon.com, it needs to link their service to your account, which is totally normalhowever, the URL points to the jinvoo company's URL, not amazon, but it comes across that it wants your amazon credentials, which NO skill should ever ask for. I didn't enter them and have no idea what would happen if you did.You must download the app onto your phone first (which, it clearly shows in the instruction booklet so my bad), setup an account, and then you use that account credentials to enter into the popup to link accounts when you enable the skill. Once you get all this done, it worked really well,seamless.The jinvoo app is actually pretty nice and can create timers or conditions, like turn lights on when the sun goes down or turn an outlet on when the weather reaches a certain temperature. Its quite powerful.

Incredibly easy to setup and works as described. I've purchased additional.I've used these for one month and highly recommend. I've tried the Phillips system and found it more complicated and costly. I tried some other "no hub" wifi units and they worked well but were more expensive. I've used x10 systems and this is far better with no accidental on due to weather that can occur with X10. Very pleased with this smart outlet.It is a simple, low cost, easy to set up, wifi with no hub, on-off system that is easy to control with Amazon Alexa, smartphone apps from anywhere in the world, as I have recently done. I was recently overseas and was able to turn on lights in rooms and verify through home cameras that also work with wifi and an app (Arlo). A very good combination for travelers.

I am having trouble connecting this unit to Alexa. I downloaded the Jinvoo app and it works fine by its self and following the instructions for sync wit Alexa went as described. Alexa shows the unit in the "Smart Home" list but when I asked her to turn it on she says "sorry, I didn't find Dinning Room light". I do not know who to contact to resolve this problem.After help from a Dilisens representative, I got the unit to communicate with Alexa. I want to thank Dilisens for their customer support. The fix was to use short simple names for the devices, i.e., lamp, livingroom (not Living Room),etc. (You cannot use Livingroom light either)My concern with using simple short naming patterns, If you start to increase the amount of modules used in the home, that could get cumbersome. Hopefully the company will come up with a fix for this issue.Other than that, the units work fine as advertised.

It is not very straightforward to set up. But works well when it is setup. I am happy with it, but for one thing. The product description says "Use the Away Mode to protect your home better, your lights will turn on and off randomly to confuse potential intruders and make it look like somebody is home, perfect for home, studio, office, hotel and bar etc" I see no Away Mode on Iphone App.

Very easy to install ( with the help of instructions provided) and working with Alexa. They are doing everything I wanted these outlets to do. Will buy again when needed and would recommend to my friends. ( this I wrote in August 2017)Update Jan- Feb, 2018. I had initially given 5 star rating. I bought 4 of these in August 2017. Over the time, all the four smart plugs have proven to be unreliable. They are consistently dropping out and becoming off-line, and need to be reset very frequently. So I am reducing my rating to 3 stars. Because of the consistent problems, I have removed 2 of the four ( now laying around idle, unused) from my system and replaced them with Centralite /GE Smart Plugs, because these are more reliable than Dilisens plugs, and also support SmarThings)Update : Of course, they do become online when I manually reset them. This frequent manual resetting defeats the very purpose of home Automation. These outlets are not dependable if you want home automation. This product needs improvement to be compatible with smartthings and IFTTTThe best aspect of this product is excellent support and willingness of the owners to honor 2 year warranty. Wendy has agreed to replace the 2 defective outlets.

Bought these for Prime Day and I am thrilled. Set up took longer than I expected, here is what caused the issue: It is noted in the instructions that the router, device and phone need to be near each other. I had initially plugged in device away from each other (about 30 ft distance) and they could not connect. So after putting the devices almost within touching distance, everything was able to link up. I unplugged from the outlet and moved my device in the kitchen were I wanted it to be without issue. I was then easily able to program my timers and am very happy with the results.

I originally wrote a review for this and did not do the product justice. It is true that 3 days after I started using them one stopped working, and that was frustrating, however, Wendy the seller was quick to respond to my email, and Amazon was quick to resolve the issue. I've been a member of Amazon for over 17 years and I continue to be a customer because of the way they handle themselves. The product is so easy to use, and easy to control, and Alexa is doing a great job operating it. I'm so pleases that today I will order two more. Thanks Wendy, and thanks Amazon team.

One of them doesn’t work already!I think when you pay this much they should last longer than a few months!
