You can ignore complaints about assembly. Some people just lack basic spatial skills that make IKEA a torture house. You should already know what kind of person you are. If you can follow basic directions and are not disabled, you can easily build this.My complaint is that it wobbles. No adjustments are possible the way the holes are drilled, and since there's gluing in the home assembly process, you can't really take it apart to rectify, even if you had the more advanced woodworking skills that most of us don't have anyway. Saving grace is it doesn't rock under weight, it's stable when sat on. Super unlikely anyone but you will notice, but like that blemish you hone in on in the mirror that no one else notices, it's still frustrating.My other complaint is that I bought the distressed version, but all they did is rub in a pasty white stain, and not very artfully either. Makes it look a weird kind of artificially dirty.Still recommend, but if your a handy woodworker, level it before you glue.Also maybe stick to non-distressed options.Otherwise very happy, great cushioning, stylish, perfect height, will be keeping this one.

I LOVE these and am extremely happy with this purchase! These stools first off, are very sturdy, they can be as pretty as they want but if the quality isn't there what good are they ! BUT ! These are a tri- perfecta they're very study and really pretty, (the picture really doesn't do them justice)and they are the perfect size stool easy to put together with proper instructions! Took me , no Bob Villa , 20 minutes , love these I bought three , I have a very largeIsland and they look great ! One very happy camper here , I purchased the white ones , they're Beautiful !! 😍

I initially ordered the round backless bar stools, however they were just too big (19" seat) and overwhelmed the bar which is only about 12 inches wide (old style bar that is higher than the kitchen counter). I returned those and ordered 4 of these saddle style stools. I took a star off for the overall issue with 3 out of 4 stools where they wobbled from side to side. The legs were just slightly off but this was easily remediated with felt pads that I cut to size & filled up the gap. I also removed all the plastic caps on the legs and changed to felt for my hardwood floors. I had no problems assembling these by myself, instructions were clear and didn't take very long. The key is to have all your parts set up ready and ready to use around the stool seat and your hardware ready. I'd say this was about a 2 out of 10 in terms of difficulty and any novice should be able to do it. They look great and are almost exactly what I wanted. The color of the fabric could be a bit more white (it has a bit of a yellow tinge to the color) but for the price these were a bargain in my opinion.

The Maven Lane counter stools are comfortable and good looking. They are exactly what I wanted. The packages arrived on time and with no damage. They were easy to put together, except the glue was very thick and would not squeeze out of the little bottle. We had to apply the glue using the end of a screwdriver. We have been using the stools for about 3 weeks and notice the wood on the stretchers, where you can place your feet, is splintering. We only wear soft soled rubber shoes in the house so the wood should not be splintering because of hard-bottom shoes. Is there a remedy for this issue?

It was exactly as pictured. Went together super easy. Appear to be very sturdy. They match my theme chic country house well. I am very pleased with the purchase and would recommend them to anyone considering bar stools to replace theirs or for the first time.😁I would definitely order them again if I needed in the future. Oh, and delivery was quick and right on the money of what Amazon promised! ❤️

These stools for the most part are unassembled. Instructions are easy to understand. Once you put one together, the second one is much easier if you happen to purchase more than one. The seat part is assembled and is of a nice quality which is good. Using for counter height where a 29” seat is too high. Comfortable seat which does have enough cushioning.

I bought two of these for my fifth wheel and they look beautiful. I needed extra dining seating and these are a perfect fit. I would recommend purchasing these if you have any doubts about durability and style. Love these!

Matched perfectly my kitchen island Was super easy to assembly. Good qualityOnly complaint is wood glue had to be put on with paint brush.
