I have a blue essence salt system, which is made by Hayward. I could not find this part for Blue essence but I figured it would work if it was made for Hayward. First of all the local pool supply store had this for $140. So I figured I would give this a try. Worked perfectly. Very simple to install. Highly recommend.

We had ordered and installed this flow switch in April 2023. It worked great until May 2024. We contacted the company and explained the situation.We received an immediate response and a new flow switch was at our door 2 days later.Great customer service is hard to find these days. We will definitely deal with this company in the future.

Packed in Amazon bubble padded envelope unprotected in a heat-sealed clear plastic bag. (Note that the metal strip that actuates the flow switch is a thin piece of metal that would not look kindly on being bent in shipping. Read: Shoulda been in a, you know… box.)But bent strip was not the problem.Severed wire was. (See photo)And to be positive about it, it was a very clean cut, so extra points for neatness!Nevertheless, “user splicing required” not listed in product specs. And these wire things, so picky, requiring end-to-end coherence in order to shuttle electrons about.If you are looking for one of these, your pool is busy NOT generating chlorine. So, yeah, time is if the essence, getting a bum flow switch, not what the Pool Doctor ordered.Guess we’ll be waiting a bit longer, having fun returning this bad boy, and looking forward to delivery of a replacement unit NOT from this company.
