This is not wood (feels like that composite plastic wood) but it is pretty sturdy. The assembly was easy and I do love the little drawers. Not all the holes are sized right for what we are using (army painter brand and the like) but that's ok. Especially considering that the ones made for "miniature painting" are at least double in price. There is definitely enough paint brush slots as well. Would definitely recommend and will be buying again.

I always research my purchases. Many of this style of modeling paint storage units had fair to poor ratings. The opposite of my headline "sturdy, easy to build. The complaints, flimsy etc. This holder for my model paints is strong. It may have cost a bit more but that's what you get when you pay for something with a better quality. I highly recommend this storage unit. And with the amount of model work I do I'm considering a second one.

I have seen some reviews saying these were hard to put together. I would strongly disagree with those statements. I had no issue putting these together. Yes, they are snug (thats a good thing!). With some even pressure they will go together. I have 2 of these and my only complaint is they don't have different options (one for only smaller bottles like army painter, one for only larger bottles like citadel, and one for hobby sized bottles like apple barrel, would be great as the other brands I have bought are cheap crap). I have gone to making my own paint racks for other styles because after owning these 2, I cant stand any other prebuilt racks. If you have a lot of smaller (army painter sized) bottles and a few citadel sized and you need a paint rack, buy this one!

Directions were sufficient but the pictures were a bit small. Assembly wasn't too tough, just need a little patience. No need to force or pound anything into place. I wasn't sure how well it would hold together once assembled so I used some standard consumer grade acetone to paint into the joints which welded the plastic together. Holds Vallejo Model Color and Model Air bottles perfectly. Standard Tamiya paint jars won't fit in the holes at all, while the minis will fit but too short to be able to see the label easily. Drawers are deep enough to store a lot of tools such as sanding sticks, tweezers, paint brushes, tape, etc. I'm still setting up my workbench and not sure what else is available. Overall this is a decent product but $35 seems a little steep for what this is.

The item is fairly hard to put together in that you have to pound the sides together into little holes . Which wouldn’t be too bad but if you hit the wrong spot the item can crack or splinter .Once I got it together it’s pretty nice , very lightweight and seems to stay together well.The holes for the little bottles of paint are ok there’s a lot of them, however only some of them will actually hold like I little bottle of say apple barrel paints . The fatter bottles of like waverly chalk paint won’t fit in the holes . And half of the holes are smaller and won’t hold the apple barrel paint bottles either ..the drawers are a good size .Overall this is an ok product . I wish it had all the holes in the larger size .

The media could not be loaded. Wasn’t easy to put together at first but I think I was just over excited….Once I got the hang of it I was done in 123!!! Only thing I thought it was a wood organizer but it’s more of a strong styrofoam. I love it either way.

I could not find anything I did not like. Its crazy sturdy and to assemble it was way too easy. I bought two of them which I am glad I did. Took maybe 3 to five minutes per rack to do. Love the fact it has two little cubby drawers as well. Ive Google and YouTubed this item and saw them glue the piece together. Uh... why? It was so well made everything snapped together so tightly that nothing moves. Sits flat and still. May buy a third in the future. Totally recommend this, that is coming from a very picky guy like me. You won't regret it.
