Loved it!
All the best SciFi right now is being written by women! And Jacey Bedford does not disappoint. This series has a gripping storyline, intriguing science and multilayered cast of characters.

Possibly the best book I have read in a long time.
I enjoyed Empire of Dust, I gave it 5 stars; if it were possible I would give Crossways 10. For me this book has only once downside; it was so very hard to put it down and get on with the rest of my life! It is a while since I read the first book in the trilogy, yet from page 1 I was engrossed. Very very few writers do that for me. In a time when people have populated intergalactic space and the corporations are in control and run by people who are corrupt and greedy, tis is the book in which the renegades manage to rescue some independence and some justice from the whole sorry mess. It is also a ripping yarn containing fights, adventure, derring do, love, sex, heroism and trust. What more could you possibly want? When can I get my hands on the next book Jacey?

Book number two of a two book series
Book number two of a two book series. I do not know if there will be a third book but her website does claim one: "Watch out for news of book number three in the series: Nimbus".Space Opera with Psi! Yes, my personal favorite, why do you ask? Ms. Bedford has definitely built a nice universe here.Fits right in with Flynx (Alan Dean Foster), Ia (Jean Johnson), Cat (Joan D. Vinge), and the Liaden space operas with psi.

An excellent sequel to 'Empire of Dust'
An excellent sequel to 'Empire of Dust'. I really enjoyed reading the continuing adventures of Ben (Psi-tech Navigator) and Cara (Telepath) as they battled the major corporations and strove to save the 30,000 lost settlers. Full of engaging characters, a fast-paced plot and wonderful world building. I can't wait for the final part of the trilogy!
