I love Hanon. this book is great. waiting for Book 2? Hopefully.

Excellent!!!

The presentation of this volume is excellent, no complaints there.However, I did wonder, when I ordered, whether the fingering would be different for the various keys, reflecting something in line with the standard fingering one finds with ordinary scale books. The preview did not allow me to look ahead to check, so I was taking a chance buying the book.As an example, the standard fingering for the scale of Db Major starts on the 3rd finger of the left hand (or at least that is what I was taught many years ago), so I might have expected the fingering in this book to reflect something similar (albeit not necessarily the same). But all fingering throughout the book is basically identical to that for the key of C.If I was wrong to expect different fingering for each scale, then my conclusion is that if you do want to do these exercises in every key, and you already know your scales well enough, you don't need this book.

This compilation is absolutely virtuoso!

I'd write a proper review but my fingers have seized up. Doing this with my nose.Cracking purchase. Very useful; stops you getting lazy.
