HIghly recommended this RX cat food
This is great food, my kitties are fine with it. At the vet's direction we have them eating these kibbles and non-prescription low phosphorus canned food. This has been a good solution. I alternate buying food with Science Diet RX kidney food. It helps keep my cat's interest in the food. I like the food brand in general. My senior cat Daisy with kidney disease and thyroid problems recommends. My healthy younger cat eats it just fine.

Kitty prefers Blue, has for years. Now CKD & he will eat their Rx!
When we adopted him from a neighbor who was moving to Germany for 4 years, she told us that Salem had refused to eat kibble until it was Blue Buffalo "Sensitive Stomach" Chicken & Brown Rice formula. And provided half a bag along with his bed and toys. When, as the summer warmed & he shed, he began puking up hairballs. Vet said "psyllium husk fiber"—and when I researched kibble, turns out Blue Buffalo made a "Hairball Control" kibble with the EXACT SAME INGREDIENTS, in the same order, as the sensitive stomach kibble EXCEPT for ADDED psyllium husk fiber at end of ingredients list. Salem transitioned easily and problem largely went away. Now he's a couple years into his second decade and diagnosed with chronic kidney disease.. and the canned Rx cat food recommended by vet gets left to dry out. But he eats Blue Buffalo K&M (kidney & mobility) kibble just as happily as their other kibbles. Of course, it's nearly twice as expensive, pound for pound, but at least he'll EAT the prescription diet. As for his wet food, he gets a grain free limited ingredient chicken & chicken liver paté with homemade scratch chicken broth added, and a stainless steel cat fountain keeps him hydrated.

Food my picky girls like and comes with results!
I did a lot of research before buying a food for my 16 year old sister kitties that are in early stage kidney disease. This food came highly recommended and I LOVED that it's for kidneys and mobility, so I decided to give it a try. It is well worth the money. My girls like it and since they've been eating it, the seem to be feeling better! One of my girls has been sprinting around the house with a bouncy ball. They both look happier and healthier already. The only complaint I have is the resealable zipper thing. Mine is screwed up, but I can still close it like 90%.

Need to change description
My cat seems to like it and it doesn’t seem to upset her stomach. But the description lists it as “Dog Food”. It should be changed to “Cat food”

No more vomiting
17-year-old kitty is hanging in at her best and Blue Buffalo recipe over Science Diet recipe seems more tolerable for her stomach.

So far, so good, from a picky 16 year old calico eater
It has been 5 days and my cat loves this dry food. She is 16 years old. She was diagnosed with kidney disease about 3 months ago, lost a couple of pounds, turns up her nose and walks away from all other dry kidney prescription diet foods and most canned foods. However, her face is plastered to the bowl eating this food. Makes my heart happy to see her eating not coerced. On another note, the Baby Bullet is my best friend and works beautifully to puree/liquefy different canned foods once I figured out what she liked and how to get her to eat it. I add 2 to 5 teaspoons of water to the canned food and it becomes a nice creamy liquid in the Baby Bullet. Just right for her because she does not grab to bite/chew her wet food but licks it. C'est la vie. Looking forward to her feeling better, health improving and gaining weight. She seems stronger to me after 5 days. I've tried a lot of different diets/foods and this works. She likes the 3 Royal Canin prescription renal diet canned food best but I've prepared Blue Wilderness regular food in the Baby Bullet too.

You Were Hoping for Elevation to a Spiritual Plane, Right?
Before I discovered this kibble, I shared my home with a 19-year-old Maine Coon dictator who fueled his lording and reign of terror exclusively with Friskies Temptations snacks. An odd choice for a nearly toothless fellow experiencing renal failure, but his willingness to eat anything at all was a mitzvah. Attempts to present him with Science Diet k/d and a number of other specialty diets were met with rage. Our two pibble terriers still shudder at the memory of the extraordinary efforts needed to hide all evidence of these events. It was a good six months later that I came across a recommendation suggesting this food for “finicky” eaters with RF. The key to introducing this food is never to let them see the bag. Tell your housemate you’ve come with a sacrifice worthy of all the gods and their children. Then sit back and watch a true miracle - the ascension of what we call a “cat” into the ether where a Transmutation to astral being shall take place. The creature I once called Grizzly is now known as Divine Oracle. Oh what fortune! To be called by him to fill his kitty dish every day and adjust his Celestial Cloak!

My cat prefers it to other brands.
My cat started a renal diet this year and prefers Blue Buffalo over Royal Canin; although, he'll also eat the Hills.
