Santa Cruz Shredder Aluminum Herb Grinder 4 Piece Medium 2 1/8" Superior Grip, With Pollen Catcher and Pick Tool (Purple)

It seems SC has loosened the tolerances on their machining- probably to coax you into buying their ridiculous shredder grease. Now you get a build-up of kief-like material in-between mating surfaces as you twist the grinder to work the mechanism.As well, they've changed their tooth pattern and although the drop-through holes are larger, the grind chamber area rarely clears on its own.More, this unit benefitted from some cool photography that makes it look to be bright, light green when it's actually a dull, dark green like a moosy moose lump you found in the forest. Which is an apt metaphor for this piece of crap.

I'm rating this a 4/5 stars because there are small scratches on the interior metal and it's not the same color as depicted. I'm uploading a pic so you can see it's much darker green in real life. It's still an amazing product though and I bought it as a gift for my friend, she's going to love it. The Santa Cruz Shredder has an immaculate design. You will have to tap the grinder together to get the contents through the holes though, but it's totally normal; all my friends have these grinders and it for sure has a cult following in CA.

I've used this shredder for over a year now, and have been frustrated with how big the grind is with this. Started using a free grinder I got and got that fluffy, fine grind I was looking for. Bad purchase on my part, beware hype.

Great product, catches alot of pollen off every batch I grind, not a fan of the shape of the pollen scraper but, it's not a big deal

Got this from seller Gift Guru, and it seems authentic compared to other SCS's I've purchased In the past. Just used It and Its teeth are razor sharp. Ground without hardly any effort. That's why I bought another one. There Is no better shredder made than Santa Cruz and It's made In the USA.

The quality is the best I have seen. The inside cutters are designed with multiple sharp but firm edges that do not grind so much as lightly tear/chop. I was not sure what to expect for the price, but it is the best you can get.

I found this to be nothing special. My twenty dollar one works just as good.

I have a golden bell grinder from amazon and it just turns my stuff into 10x confectioners sugar. The holes are just so small in regular grinders that by the time it goes to the next chamber your left with dust or dismembered plant in the first chamber. So far this shredder is doing work and leaving me with more "fluffy" material rather than extra fine
