It is a very simple but effective design to provide a great overall product. Great for the price point. It allows for a lot of different diagnostic tools to get the best support for your vehicles. It also clears lights that need cleared and can clear all stored codes if they are not a problem anymore. It helped save me the 250$ diagnostic fees from the mechanic to figure out why my airbag light was on. (they wouldnt just clear it even though i knew why it had come on but it was fine after i fixed the issue.)

Hace unos dias escribí una reseña donde mencionaba que no contestaban a los correos, problemas con las actualizaciones (tardan mucho) y que el modo srs no funciona siempre, incluso con el mismo carro.Ese mismo dia fui contactado por un representante de cgsulit ofreciéndome disculpas y que si habian respondido mis emails (la verdad no se que paso pues si mandaron la respuesta pero nunca me llego) el representante me dio varias soluciones hasta incluso amablemente me ofreció cambiarme el dispositivo por uno nuevo ya que los problemas empezaron cuando lo actualicé por primera vez. Al final de todas las soluciones que me ofrecieron tome el reembolso ya que se me dificultaba mucho recibir el reemplazo.Agradezco de todo corazón la solución que me brindaron y que me hayan tenido la paciencia para buscar una solución.A few days ago I wrote a review where I mentioned that they did not respond to emails, problems with updates (they take a long time) and that the srs mode does not always work, even with the same car.That same day I was contacted by a cgsulit representative offering me apologies and that they had responded to my emails (I honestly don't know what happened because they did send the response but it never arrived) the representative gave me several solutions and even kindly offered to change my device for a new one, since the problems started when I updated it for the first time. At the end of all the solutions they offered me, I took the refund since it was very difficult for me to receive the replacement.I really appreciate the solution you provided me and that you had the patience to find a solution.

This scanner was able to clear an ABS fault code on a 2016 Lexus GX 460 and activated the ABS module to bleed air in the front lines and rear lines although for the rear it was the same method as the front lines which is different from what I have seen online when using tech stream. In any case pedal response and feel improved after ABS air bleeding.I also used this scanner for a 2014 Lexus GS350 and used the air bleeding function. The ABS pump pushed fluid through FR and RR calipers but did not have an option for the left side. For some reason Pump activation only occurs after pushing “Ok” for the second time. Pedal response improved although pedal travel was still long and slightly soft. But after 1-2 weeks of driving the pedal feel got much better. More so than just flushing my fluid without using a scan tool to ABS air bleed.Overall highly satisfied!

Bought it to recalibrate the steering angle sensor in my wife’s 2015 Subaru outback, I had changed the clock spring to fix the horn, and messed up the angle sensor! This unit worked as advertised and was able to read the live data in degrees and set it to zero and reset the sas. Also was able to watch live data and diagnose a bad oxygen sensor! Works great. Functions that used to be only found on a dealer level are available on this thing. We’ll see how it works in the future but for now I’m happy with it for the price!

I was having a code for my ABS system after scanning I found the problem and resolved the issue overall buying this tool, I saved myself a lot of money. I highly recommend this tool.

stopped connecting to the obd. lights up reads then crashes. will not update. need something more reliable.

What does this means? I tried updating the latest firmware on the PC but the program won't even read it? Only use it twice and now it won't respond!!

It is really hard to find a decent scanning tool that can read OBD2 codes on a vehicle for under $200. This scanner not only does that for a lot less, but it also has the ability to recalibrate steering angle sensors, SRS diagnostics, and reset check engine codes. Not to mention it can also do ABS bleeding. The best part is the user interface. The color screen is plenty big, and very clear and easy to read. The menu system is very obvious and simple to navigate. You are usually only a few button presses away from whatever you need to do. Not to mention customizable shortcuts. They also provide a mini USB cable so you can update the scanner if needed. Along with an instruction manual that is in color. All this is provided to you in a really nice carrying case to keep it organized and protected. Overall, I have to say I am impressed with this scanner. This is great for anyone who works on their own cars or has those friends who need to figure out a check engine light on occasion.
