DKS Adjustable Hand Grip Strengthener, Resistance Range 22 to 88 Lbs (10-40 Kg) for Exerciser Hand/Finger/Forearm Strength Training

I have had the hand grip for approximately seven months. I have used it on a regular basis and have found it not of the highest quality. The orange coating on the grips has been wearing off continually, see photo. What really did it for me was when the spring broke a few days ago. Based on the quality of the product I do not want a replacement and will look at upgrading with a different product.

I don't know what I was expecting for the price, but it's decent. I don't have an amazing grip strength, but I was expecting at the max setting I'd barely be able to squeeze it, but I have no problem pulling off a couple sets of 20 reps at max (40kg) with this. I have a sneaking suspicion it's not actually 40kg, but I cannot claim that with certainty as I don't have a method of testing it.That said, I was initially a little disappointed with the build quality, particularly the adjustment knob, but since I can't adjust it up further, it looks like it's not going to matter.I'd say it's worth the price, but I'm not sure about longevity, as the build is mostly plastic with the except of the tension spring, the pins, and the adjustment screw.

Nothing spectacular -- it delivers exactly what was promised. The grips are nice and padded and the knob is easy to use (you turn it, and that will change the angle of the spring making it more difficult to press down). I originally got this to help improve my grip strength for bouldering and it's working perfectly -- I just leave it at my work desk and use it when there's some time to kill.

Bought these again a year later, having been satisfied with the frist. To find that they've completely changed how they're made. I compared the new model to the old to find that the restraint was weaker, almost halved the weight printed. The colors mentioned blue and black are actually red and black. The piece is wider which makes the metal sling through making a popping sound every clench.

Keeps my hands loose at work and lets me exercise my wrist while at my computer. The coils seem to catch a little. After a few months use it's noticeably a bit more arduous to set the brace to higher pressure ranges, but it still works well.

It's pretty well made, my only complaint is the grip. The material causes a lot of friction on my skin when I'm gripping it and it becomes more of challenge to put up with that friction rather than the strength required to squeeze it.

For 9 bucks this is a steal. I'm very happy with the strength adjustment levels and the build quality is very sturdy and the plastic seems like it's going to last a long time.

Never before have I experienced maximum grip, until now.Before I began my training, I received many complaints of 'slippage' and 'loose feathery fingers'. After pumping this spring loaded bad-boy for a good 3 weeks I am gripping with the prosI highly recommend this product to anyone looking to grab things better

Easy to use and will allow for continued progress to be made as hand strength improves. We haven't had it for very long but this grip does seem to be very well made.

Just got it today but so far feels like good build quality, the tension adjustment feels like it shouldn't break in a week of use, overall happy with the purchase especially for the price. Have it at my desk at work to use randomly throughout the day.

Pretty well crafted product. The grip is awesome and it does not slip. The adjustable spring may be a little tough to adjust at first, but it definitely increases the resistance when adjusted.

I keep this on my counter and when I walk past I will do a set of 8-10 reps. It’s easy, comfortable and I like how you can adjust the resistance.

Use it quite a bit when I'm sitting down. The adjustment works well to build up to higher tensions.The markings for the tension wore off really quickly though (just a few days). The part of the rubber grip at the bottom wore off too, since your pinky tends to slide across it. Overall pretty good though.

I really like this grip strengthener. ease to use. keeps me busy on the bus. only reason I gave a 4* was the little button on the adjustment knob keeps coming off. I have to keep pushing it back in place.

It’s pretty straightforward to use except that you have to essentially guess how “tight” or “heavy” you want your grip to be. There are no instructions.
