I'm not quite sold on these sunglasses. I like them, but I don't quite love them.My wife and I have half a dozen pairs from Hawkers, and what we love about them are the eyecatching designs. This time, though, I played it safe and ordered this model in carey, a fairly standard tortoiseshell pattern, and I kinda wish I'd gone for the much more interesting transparent frames.The thing about Hawkers frames is that there's nothing all that special about the build quality. They're fine, but nothing to write home about, so I'd only recommend them if you love the crazy designs.

I got these for my boyfriend and I to share and we both really like them! The build quality is nice - the frames are a solid-feeling, sturdy plastic and look great in the Carey color, and the lenses are just fine for driving on sunny days in the Green color. The Hawkers logo on the side of the frames looks really nice while wearing too. The design isn't anything super innovative, but they make for a nice pair of staple glasses. Overall we are both really pleased with these glasses and expect to get a lot of use from them in the future.
