Intrepid International Exselle Elite Ringed Bit Converter

i have always used the traditional style converters but after reading the reviews decided to give this a go. it is a little bulky but as other reviews mentioned being able to adjust how much curb i need is awesome. plus it gave my horse time to ease into the different action.

Very low quality, dry and already cracking from the moment I took it out of the package. What a shame, as I really love the design of these converter straps. I ordered a curb strap from Weaver and it arrived the same day these converters arrived -- the difference in leather quality is astounding, Weaver product was butter smooth, compared to whatever it is that Intrepid uses that is dry, stiff and cheap. I'm sending it straight back.

The craftsmanship is good but the design is flawed. Despite the adjustable lengths the upper strap can not shorten enough to create contact with both rings and a normal lines to the rider’s hands. This puts more pressure on the curb shack and little to none on the snaffle ring of a Pelham bit.

Just what I needed. Leather is nice & it works great. I added snaps to the ends for easier removal.Thank you!
