Moleskine Cahier Journal, Soft Cover, Large (5" x 8.25") Ruled/Lined, Black, 80 Pages (Set of 3)

I've used this for years, the paper quality if good for drawing on, and they travel well, not large of bulky.

I used these on a recent trip and the journal is nice as far as paper, writing quality, and size...but it's not durable and didn't stand up to getting lightly wet, frequent opening and closing (back cover started to pull away), and it started to bend a little. I will keep this for home use only (journals or note taking). I wouldn't take it as a travel journal to keep in my bag and have handy, but it served a 3 week purpose and I can transfer the info into a more durable journal.

I have been buying this type of Moleskine notebook for making art in watercolor, ink, pencil and mixed media several years nowThe paper is thin for watercolor of course but no thinner than papers used by artists from history such as Delacroix, Bonnard and Kahlo.

These are pretty handy notebooks and are a great size. However the paper is too thin for what I intended to use it for (water coloring and sketching - my smaller moleskine works excellently for this!). The ink does not bleed on to the next page, even when using inky pens, so the quality is still there despite the thinner pages. It’s also a great deal to get 3 in one, which is why I’m giving it 4/5 stars.

Love the texture of the paper. While it's thin (you can see the sketches/inking of the pages beneath), the paper itself is very smooth and easy to draw on. I also love that it's sewn for binding instead of the rings. Size is also great for sketching larger. Will be buying again!

I've used Moleskine unlined journals for decades. The quality of all the sizes I've used is always better than any other brand. Go Moleskine. Now I've discovered the X-tra large size and I'm extra pleased.

I got this for my daughter who loves the target moleskin notebook but wanted a larger size. The paper weight is not comparable, very thin and wrinkles.

I love these notebooks. Soft cover. Giant canvas. I use them mostly for writing/journaling, but minimal sketching, too. The paper is a little lighter weight than the hard cover moleskine, but still feels so soft like butter. I'm a sucker for Moleskine.

Moleskine notebooks are just beautiful and good quality!

The product is great (I love the moleskine notebooks) but when it arrived, the corner had been bent on each of the books. I’m not sure if they were sent like this or if it is because the amazon courier rammed them through the letter box instead of leaving them on the mat. Either way they don’t look very good at all although they are still functional. For the price I am really disappointed.

Not as good as I expected from Moleskin - cardboard covers mark very easily so the books very quickly look shabby. Would not buy again.
