they dont tighten at all
the plastic quality is trash and comes with a lot of weird little wrinkles from the molding process, one piece even still had the some leftovers of the molding on it. As mentioned: they also dont really hold the gopro very tightly as in when screwing the gopro to this it'll still be able to move front to back if you push it even just a little thanks to the plastic being bad.
