we have a cavachon who needs daily brushing, while slicker brushes do seem to work best he hates them.. i guess the spiky bristles hurt his skin.. i mean have you ever used one on your own head? OUCH! so ive been searching for a slicker with soft tip bristles and ive found a couple but they have been tiny little ones ... this one is a bit big to be honest i wish there was a middle sized one but it does a great job and its soft on his skin since every bristle has a tip on it .. it feels softer to use .. it does need a few more goings over than the regular slicker brush so it takes a little longer but Ryuk enjoys it so much more and in the end thats more important to me.Well made brush, large pad, nice curved paddle, all in all a really nice soft slicker brush, the little cleaning comb is also a nice touch but i wish you could attach it to the brush some how coz i'm gonna lose it at some point.

I think I was expecting rather too much from this brush. It looks almost identical to the Mikki Small Ball Pin Slicker Brush, but it has some key differences. The handle is shorter, making it feel rather unbalanced in the hand. The pins are shorter, so they don't penetrate my cats thick fur as deeply. Also the pins are much stiffer, and my cat definitely doesn't appreciate this harsher sensation. It did come with a small cleaning brush, but this really isn't necessary, as fur from slicker brushes is vey easy to remove. Like the Mikki version, I do like the slightly curved head, as this is the perfect shape for following your cats body contour from neck to tail. All in all, a bit disappointing.

This is a brilliant little brush! We wanted something which would be a little softer on the skin of our two pups than a full blown slicker brush to start with, and this really does the job!Ease of use has been marked down as 4 stars because it’s not always the easiest to get the fur out the bristles after you are done brushing, especially when you have misplaced the little comb which comes with it to help you get the fur out. However we have found that using a bristle brush also helps remove the fur from it too.

Great for cavachon breed and also cavaliers.I always used a straight slicker brush but this has small white ends that stops the brush from scratching the skin making the dog more comfortable. My daughters dog loved been brushed with it. So much better for tangles too

Excellent pin brush. Glides through tangles and doesn't hurt my dog. He hates being brushed so a smaller sized brush is much better for me,I've found this brush or be a perfect size and I can get my giant schnoodle brushed with ease and speed.
