Since I’ve bought this handy little kit, I’ve used it more times than I ever thought I would and it’s worked great every time! Everyone should have this in their toolbox!

Could be sharper and made with better material.
Should work OK with softer materials.Any hard Steel will challenge the drill bits and may not remove the item with the extractor.Would not recommend.

Perfect for what I needed
I have a craftsman planer that needed the blades changed. It has 12 hex screws that hold the two covers in place. It comes with a t-handle hex driver to remove them. These little sonsabi’s were so tight, they all stripped. I ordered this guy (zero reviews) and most came out first try. I had two that had to be drilled out with a small drill bit, reamed and then try again, but I got them all. There are no instructions… in English. That said, use the top bit to round out the screw and then use the same size bit (the one with a rounded, spiral tip) to slowly grab the screw and back it out.
