I bought this to do maintenance on my Ferrari F430 and my Toyotas and Mazdas. Came quickly, item is solid, put together very nicely, lots of connectors for many cars. Initial Software update was easy and went smoothly. It connected to my cars with zero issues. Was able to adjust clutch parameters on the F430 easily and quickly. It paid itself off in just one use.

Just got the unit a few days ago and d promptly put it to work on a 2003 chevy truck where I was having issues. The unit seems to work a lot like a Tech 2 I had borrowed some time ago but a bit easier to use on the chevy. I also connected it to my Ford and my Jeep but the jeep is a bare bones from the factory from 2000 so there is not a lot for it to read other than the powertrain and that is limited to the engine because it is a stick. So far I am really happy that I got the unit. It reads way more than my basic older reader and the bi-directional aspect as well as graphing really make it a great tool. Pretty easy to use and intuitive. Mine came with Android 7.0 and ti is a nice case and package.It even was able to read the obscure Quadraster codes. This is going to be a great tool and the size and lack of all kinds of cables make it easy to use while the vehicle is in motion as well. You still have to know how to interpret the results but it gives you way more tools than a reader. Just one crank relearn cost savings will pay a big chunk of the cost. Totally worth it.

This is an amazing little tool and perfect for auto body shops who are pre and post scanning vehicles. This will perform/test/reset TPMS functions, occupancy sensors, SAS calibrations etc etc..... What's most surprising is it won't break the bank. There are cons but at this price and this time I'm willing to overlook them given the functionality. The seller's willingness to correct these functions may change my rating down the road. IN fact I was going to wait to rate but I like the tool well enough so far I wanted to tout a little. (4 star tout anyway) :)PROS: "no such thing as 100% complete" but very "complete" coverage of software. (admittedly I've been using this for about 2 or 3 weeks but so far so good hand strap is just fantastic and provides a very secure grip on the scanner without fatique blue tooth dongle is reliable and fits well not sure if I'll ever use the extra connectors but I have them if needed Android pad is "fast enough" and the touch screen response perfectly WIFI is reliable and decent range. Scan reports are very easy to read and if you print them in color they show red faults and green clear code areas. VERY NICE!IT AIN"T ALL GOOD: CONS: Android operating system is 5.1 but I'm hoping for the purpose of this tool security will work. (LEOGLOBAL UPDATE THIS PLEASE) LEOGLOBAL needs to seriously update the user functions to allow for customizing the quick start buttons and removing that awful screen capture button on the home keys, among other things. NO SD CARD SLOT!!! This is 2018, but if it were 2014 when 5.1 Lollipop came out I'd expect to have an SD card slot for extra storage. This 16 GB isn't going to last that long! BATTERY life is decent while the tool is in use but even if you shut down the app and blank the screen something is still draining the battery way too fast. You must power down or keep it on the charger to ensure your battery stays charged. WAY WAY WAY too many button pushes to back out after a scan is complete. There is a back arrow in the software but there needs to be a simple "exit diagnostics" after you are done without having to click multiple times to get to the warning beep that reminds you to grab the dongle. LEOGLOBAL & LAUNCH PLEASE PLEASE change the software to allow the user to print to ANY bluetooth or WIFI printer, not just the LAUNCH thermal printer. I like color reports. LEOGLOBAL & LAUNCH PLEASE PLEASE change the software to allow the user to designate where the reports are stored AND allow the file name to be changed/edited at the time of the save. The file names are too long and you have to go through each one to find the scan you wish to share/print/email/whatever. I shouldn't have to open a report to find out if it's the one I need. (EDIT: SINCE YOU INPUT THE CUSTOMER NAME AND MAKE THAT SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE FILE NAME FOR EASY IDENTIFICATION AND THE DATA IS ALREADY INPUT) You can't sort by date either, which would help some at least. In order to print to my network printer I have to save it within the Launch software then "share" it to the external app provided with the tablet, where "share" equals save it to a folder of your choosing. The problem is you still can't rename the file first. The extra steps required to save files and print to a regular printer are annoying and shows sloppy coding. TOO MANY MAKES I'll never work on. I wish you could delete the software for the models you will never work on. My little Foxwell scanner I paid $150 for will allow you to remove those.Even with the annoyances you'll get into a groove but whoever is responsible for the coding hopefully will make this more user friendly. Catch this on a lightning deal like I did and in spite of the cons you'll be glad you bought it.

This tool has made me not even want to touch another Autel. I've been using it for a professional european car repair shop for a year and I rarely ever have to use another tool.There are a few things on certain cars that are missing that I have to use an Autel, autologic, or OE solution for, but 99% of non-programming related tasks can be done with this tool.I don't like how live data is displayed (page by page and you have to select what you want) but the data recording and playback is good.I absolutely love the streamlined interface and how easy and fast it is to scan a vehicle and save a full, professional looking PDF report (and you can chose pre-repair, post-repair etc) and email it.No other tool under $1200 can touch this product as far as being reliable, not glitchy (I cant even think of a time when it messed up), and being able to do the amount of things it can do.Need to code an FRM on a BMW? No problem. Need to activate a fan on a horrible old land rover? Still works on that too! Need to check codes on a late 90s mercedes or BMW with the round connectors? No problem.This tool is so good I plan on buying the full size x431 tablet for the shop later on.Trust me, get this or skip all the way up to something that does programming as well. Anything between is not worth the extra money.

I am not a professional garage. I purchased this after watching several YouTube car repair channels. I had been experiencing issues with my car and the dealer and independent shops could not diagnose. The dealer just wanted to keep throwing parts at it, and the independent shops did not have tools as nice as this. By using the X431 I was able to view the datastream and run bidirectional tests that allowed be to find a wiring problem. There is so much more to these tools than just "read the codes" They can allow you to diagnose things. In my case it was a wire that wore thru. I highly recommend. My friends now bring me their cars to scan for codes, but then test to see if the code shows the cause or just a symptom to really dig it. Not just throwing the "parts cannon" at it.

so far its done everything ive needed it to. hooked it to half a dozen vehicles so far and its had the functions and bidirectional controls i expect the vehicles would have. i do wish there was better documentation comparing the various launch models, their features and compatibility with their optional accessories, but i guess thats par for the coarse with this level of scan tool. ultimately for the price point this thing works better than i expected.
