Not nearly as good as I hoped and I possibly overpaid for the experience. But some fun.
Let me state that this is the ONLY pair of these I've tried. They're mid-range, I'd say, price-wise of all the ones I've shopped. Some are as low as $9.99 and others as high as $100 for the same iphone/Android type set. Also, I have a disadvantage maybe going into this review having done quite a bit of work with stereophotography. I had an appreciation for 3D capabilities using a stereoscope and I've even had great success making my own 3D photos.( I've not explored 3D apps much though.) Having seen dozens of 3D photos with great resolution I was hopeful this was a similar experience but with video! I was greatly disappointed. Yes, I know these aren't meant to be a similar experience to the much more costly Oculus Rift or hdc VIVE experiences (neither of which I've tried to date) but I was hoping for more than it offers. So, lets' the good and the bad and the maybe bad:The Good:Well-built. Solid unit. Very comfortable. Lots of adjustment in the headstraps. Easy to load iphone (sort of. more on that in the cons). Was able to use with glasses (mine are small frame though). There is adjustment between pupils which is good to make the two screens look more like one screen. That worked well. The lenses also move forwards and backwards to help slightly with focus. The Bad:Can't load your iphone without first removing the case and protector. A HUGE disappointment! I don't want to remove/install my phone protection every time I go to use this headset but you must. The maybe bad:The resolution has not been very impressive to me and I've looked at 15 or 20 videos so far. A couple I looked at using Google cardboard weren't too bad though. I attribute some of this to the fact that I'm 56 years old and normally use glasses. I just viewed a video for VR Box called Alien and it wasn't bad with reader glasses. I have seen MUCH clearer and sharper images using 3D stereoscopes but those images, for me, are focused usually around 6" away from my eyes. The max distance this video can be from my eyes is 2-1/2" so I'll not be too critical on the focus. I'll leave that to our 20/20 viewers. Also, in the maybe bad is the price. As I've said I can't really say for sure that the lower-priced headsets of this type are as good in comfort and/or resolution but I've seen plenty of positive reviews for the lower-priced sets. So I possibly paid nearly double or more for features I could get in a much cheaper headset. I'll update this review if I try cheaper sets and get similar results.So....if you want to try the VR experience I'd recommend a $20 headset (I even saw one at Best Buy for $9.99; the Utopia 360) instead of paying nearly $50 for one. Check out the Youtube videos and Amazon reviews first. Hope this review helped someone.12.27.17 Okay, an update....yeah, already. I just tried the phone in the Bnext holder attached to my stereoscope viewer (see pic; yeah, it looks awkward but it's working for me.) and it looks great so the blurriness is definitely because of how close the phone is to my old eyeballs. So, as far as that goes resolution is as good as the video you watch.

Design is Horrible - No Way to Play Most VR Experiences Unless You Buy a Remote
I bought this for my mom for Christmas because I had purchased this cardboard one Google Cardboard,Topmaxions 3D VR Virtual Reality DIY VR Headset For 3D Movies and Games Compatible with Android & Apple Up to 6 Inch Easy Setup Machine for my husband and it was just so neat that I wanted her to try it. I thought the virtual world might be soothing to her when she was stressed. It's awful! Not only was the vision not so great, but the whole thing is pointless without a remote. There is no button on it, so you can't even go through the set up process on the Google Cardboard app with this thing. It literally is useless unless you buy the remote, which you'd have to get a universal remote because I couldn't even find one of this brand.Nearly all VR apps require some way to progress through the experience. Some will let you focus on a button to progress, but not the majority. WHY would you even sell this without a remote? What a hugely disappointing Christmas present! Literally, the one that is made of cardboard is better made than this piece of junk.If you insist on buying it because you like the color or something, just find a remote and order that too or you won't be able to use it.For the same price, you can purchase Samsung Gear VR (2016) - GS7s, Note 5, GS6s (US Version w/ Warranty - Discontinued by Manufacturer by Manufacturer) which is much better and even has a side "mouse pad" to enhance your experience.

I have three concerns about this.
This is OK. I was a little disappointed with it for a few reasons. This may be true of all of these devices but:1. The image is often out of focus or I see two images on top of each other. If I close one eye it helps a lot.2. When you put your phone inside it is impossible to touch the screen to advance to another video or skip ahead in the video you are watching.3. If you have any sort of case on you iphone it is a very difficult fit. I have an otterbox case and it doesn't fit at all. My wife has a slim case and it just barely fits. I had to use a pair of pliers to pull it out once.I had high expectations and bought these as gifts last Christmas, but I'm sorry to say I am unimpressed.Peace

Great gift idea for gamers, stocking stuffer for teens!
I had purchased the red pair a few months ago and my husband and I loved them so much. He suggested that I purchase a pair for our older daughter. Ironically she put them on her Christmas list after I had already ordered them! LOL. They arrive neatly packaged and the instructions were very easy to follow. I advise in you have a protective case such as an Otter Box on your phone, you will have to take your phone out of it to use these glasses. The glasses are adjustable strapped to make them usable for child to adult, though I feel that they would fit better on an older child of at least 9-10 years of age. These are a great purchase for anyone who would enjoy VR games or apps, I will recommend these for a great gift idea especially going into the Holiday Season!

Honestly, this is product is ok. It's not super amazing. We had a hard time getting the iphone to match up exactly in the right spot to not see double. It would have been awesome for more free apps to go along with the product. All in all, it was used one time on Christmas day and then was forgotten.

Great vr headset for family
My kids and I love it. Wish there were more free apps that allow gameplay. Most of the ones I've tried once you get to the good part, demo is over. Should also advertise that some games cannot be played without a Bluetooth controller. And the comfort pad keeps popping out, easily able to pop it back in, just gets a little frustrating. However the experience is awesome.
