I’ve been using the La Sportiva Akyra shoes for a while now, and they’re awesome in terms of grip, comfort, and durability. They handle great tough trails and keep my feet well-protected.The only downside? They’re pretty heavy. If you’re into lightweight hiking or running shoes, this might be a dealbreaker. But if you don’t mind the extra weight, these are solid shoes that will last.

They feel like very well made running shoes. I ordered a size 11, tried it on and it felt like a size 9! So so small. Had to send them back. Bit confusing sending back to this seller. I have made contact but they don't realy seen to answer my questions :-(

Bought these as my 3rd pair of raptors. Original raptors were tremendous trainers both for scuffing about town and for long mountain days in summer on rocky alpine paths and scrambles.La Sportiva have changed the uppers around the heel in the "Ultras", the superb heel hold of the old version has gone along with some of the padding. The overall volume of the shoe seems to have increased as well. I find my feet move about in the new version and don't get the precise yet super comfy feel of the old.I would have returned them if I hadn't made the mistake of wearing them outside before I realised the changes.
