Beautiful Brute: A Stepbrother College Romance (Court University Book 3)

Weirdly, I like Jax & Cleo together. Their beginning? Not so much. We already know J is a manwhore from previous books. He proves it by jumping from C’s bed to her roommate to the rest of the female population in 2 weeks. I understand his envy/jealousy of C because of his dad, but I don’t understand why he literally wants to f*** her, unless it’s just head games. But this is His book- he is the one that has the most emotional growth. By the end, we are rooting for them and that’s entirely due to good writing. I am a bit tired of this quad of guys and their “revenge” kicks on women without all the info. You’d think they would have learned from December’s story…

I guess we are suppose to forgive Jax for everything just because he gave Cleo a kidney at the end. Well….. sorry but I didn’t. He sleeps with many women after taking heroines virginity, and one being her BFF. No grovel, no remorse. At 32% he says he’ll take Kit (BFF) first and then Cleo can be second 🤮. That was it for me. I skimmed the rest. I won’t be reading anymore of this series.

Book 3 in the court university series we get Jax story! When he was young his dad just left & got a new family & he is angry so when he goes to the university he gets to see daddy dearest plus meet his dads new family plus the step sister but Jax never imagined when playing with his step sis he might actually fall for her or does he?

Jax grew up believing a lie and always hated his dad for it. Years later he decides to take his father up on moving to !Miami to finish out his senior year in college but he has ulterior motives. The only part of this book I had a problem with is when Jax slept with Chloe's best friend/ roommate.

This one was even harder for me to get through than Kingpin and that was rough. Cleo was a hard FMC to connect with, she was very naive and it made things a little... creepy? I had loved Jax throughout the previous books but this one made him out to be such a...jerrrrk. Still worth the read, I do recommend it, just a little urked. 🥴🤣

I absolutely LOVED Beautiful Brute!! I swear each one gets better than the last!! I didn't know if Jax would be able to redeem himself (he REALLY screws up a few times) but he totally did. I can not recommend this book enough you guys...seriously READ IT!!

This one was as an emotional roller coaster as Royal and December’s series was. I always thought Jax was the fun loving friend the comic, but it was hiding pain that we find in this book. He finds his other half through a plan that bites him back.

I have to admit the beginning of this book was harsh with how Jax treated Cleo and she had no reason why especially after what had happened to them the night before.I guessed right about his Mom & Mama and what his Dad did for him.I love the dipping in of the other Court characters throughout all their stories, looks like Ramses is next so will start that tomorrow.

Very addictive, I had to just read it all, I will have to get the paper back to add to my book shelf!

In die Geschichte zu kommen. Ich bin mit 37 halt manchmal schon zu alt für so einen Mist. Aber irgendwann drehte sich das Blatt und die Geschichte wurde besser. Zudem gibt es immer wieder Einblicke in die anderen Charaktere und ich liebe Royal und December. Das wird sich nicht ändern.

I have read other books in this series and other Eden O Neil books, they are soooooo good! I literally didn’t want to put this book down. I love how the men love the women with everything they have. ❤️😁❤️
