Perfect paint marker for autographs!!!
I collect autographs and always include oil-based paint pens for the signatures. These markers work great, show up well on dark, light, and even transparent surfaces, and oil based pint won't fade or break down nearly as bad as a sharpie or water based paint over time. For the price, these were just as good as any of the higher priced name brand ones i've purchased in the past. I'm sold!

All of them except the blue (and maybe red) are awesome!
Tl;dr: blue is awful, don’t know if I got a dud, but it goes on thin and isn’t remotely metallic, the red is more maroon than bright red like the cap, but all the colors other than blue are thicker, true “paint” markers, and have a genuine metallic sheen.Okay, I’m editing my review because I bought these about 9ish months ago for the metallic blue and red and because I thought I could use the silver and gold as backups and eventual replacements for my gold and silver poscas. So when they came, I tried the blue first and it was a complete waste of time. I’m leaving my original review below because I stand by that impression of the blue marker, not metallic, not a paint marker, no better than a sharpie and really, not as good as a sharpie, and I was super annoyed because these were advertised as “metallic” “paint” markers and the blue was decidedly not either. So I tossed them in a drawer and never bothered with the rest. Then the other day I was bored and playing with a cheap tarot deck and I remembered these markers and thought it might look cool edged in “copper”, even if it was more dull brown than metallic, so I broke these out and had a completely different experience! The copper was shiny, it went on thick, like paint, it was luscious, bright, truly metallic, and an absolute pleasure to work with. I had a couple cheap decks I’d picked up, so I tried the green next, it also went on smooth and thick, with a clear, silvery sheen to it. I knew I’d reviewed these based on the blue, and I thought I should try them all this time before I amended my review, so I edged some more cheaper decks. All of them except the blue are awesome! The red is my least favorite (after blue of course) because it’s so dark, more maroon than true red, and it almost borders on the copper shade, but still, if the blue hadn’t been a part of this set, this would have been an enthusiastic 5 star review.Attached are my pics of the edged decks, showing every color, even the blue (under the green, copper and gold), which is a nice dark shade, but it not only isn’t metallic, it’s streaky, it’s thin, it just doesn’t look like it’s even part of the same set of markers. (Seriously, maybe there was a mix up and they sent the wrong blue for the pack? Or the metallic element of the ink was somehow left out of my marker?) I totally recommend these and will probably buy them again, I think I actually like the silver and gold better than my silver and gold poscas, and the copper is gorgeous. Just… watch out for the quality control I guess? And based on this experience, if it’s metallic blue you need, look elsewhere.Original Review:These are just permanent markers, not paint markers. I wasn’t actually expecting posca, and they do say permanent in the title, but I didn’t think they’d just straight up work like sharpies either. I would have stuck with crayola if I’d known these were just normal permanent markers, I specifically wanted markers with a little bit of grace time to wipe off the slick surface I wanted to use them on (not paper) before the mark set but that’s not these, I think even sharpies might have been easier to wipe off if you’re fast enough. Three stars because they are markers, they’re not particularly metallic but the colors are pretty, but no more than three stars because they don’t work like “paint” markers at all.

Inconsistent quality
I purchased the markers to paint rocks. I did quite a bit of prep sanding and priming to create a smooth surface. I found the marker quality across the various colors varied widely. Some worked well with no paint seepage and spitting paint and others were awful. White was the worst. All were shaken before use. Some required more shaking than others and some had to shaken very frequently. I have worked with other paint markers in the past so there was no over pumping. The coverage or transparency differed amongst the colors. The colors most transparent were the metallics. The brown paints as a transparent copper and the gray paints as a transparent silver. For the pens that worked, the colors went on fairly easily. The drying time seemed to vary between colors of same thickness application. The rough point does not work great in this application of painting rocks as they pull up paint in the overlapped areas with the nib. I also found adding second coats looked sloppy even after the layers were dry. Overall I finished the rocks. I would not recommend these. If you do buy them, wear clothes that can get paint on them

They work well
I use them to mark my stained-glass patterns. The paint doesn't wash off while grinding.
