I didn't want to take the Jeep to the dealer to repair the broken visor retainer. I've heard it will just keep being an issue. This seems to have fixed it. I wish it were metal. I don't trust plastic. But so far, so good!

Only complaint is they are both the same. I would have liked them to be made left and right so they would be symmetrical. As they are they get installed opposite of each other.

Works, could be better
Like most other JL owners, my sun visor broke and kept falling out. If you are reading this, it has either happened to you or you have learned it will happen to you.Overall, I was impressed with the completeness of the kit. I received all tools (torx and allen head) required for installation. I also received an extra screw. All was packaged in a small plastic box.My only criticism is that I expected to receive a steel plate rather than the plastic one i received. That being said, the plastic piece does appear to be well made, using a sufficiently strong polymer. This is not a 3D printed piece.Since my JL is still under warranty, I plan to take it back to the dealer to have the broken piece replaced, but I will keep these in place as a structural enhancement. Overall, I would recommend this item to fix the well known design flaw in the JL.

Finally a real fix and affordable too
I was tired of fighting with the dealership and just about completely removed the problem visor that kept falling, when I found this. I was careful/ methodical with the install and it still only took a few minutes per visor. It's super sturdy and provides peace of mind. Likes others have said, you don't even notice it's there. I'd give it a 9.5/10 only because I wish the mounting screws were a little closer to the factory spec but, oh well.2018 Sahara JLU for reference.

Less than 5 minute permanent fix for your falling visor!
Honestly I didn’t expect much from this product, but after having my sun visor fall into my face on many occasions on my 2020 wrangler jl, I’m now driving confidently/ safely once again.
