Well made handfork
Very study and well made handfork. I use it for digging up weeds and loosening soil. I expect this garden tool to last a long time.

Great tool from a great company!
These are such solid, well made tools! I have four of their various tools so far, and there are several others on my wish list. :) There would be many more to wish for, if I was serious about gardening - it seems like they have a specialty tool for every need. This is unusual in that the tines are flat (about 1/8" thick), rather than the round or square tines of a full size fork. I've found it useful for many things, and I just discovered that it is *awesome* for collecting moss when I made a couple of moss/fern terrariums for family gifts. Nice sharp points and the leading edges of each tine are ground to a bevel, so they are thinner/sharper, making the digging easier - the nearly flat profile just slides under the moss, and you end up with a thin even layer of soil, without disturbing/breaking up the moss. :)I am so happy to find an honorable company that makes quality products and stands behind them! DeWit will be my garden tool company forever! Yes, they are more expensive than walking in to HD or L, but these tools will last so much longer, and will probably outlive me...It's been said before, but I'll say it again - a good tool really does make the work easier. When the tool actually helps you, rather than you having to accommodate/work around the tool - for tool weakness, design flaws, etc... I just wish I'd discovered these tools years ago!

Strong, but lacking in leverage and reach...
I bought this to replace two other hand forks that bent and finally broke. This fork is definitely WAY stronger. The neck and tines are obviously designed to withstand digging forces very effectively. I have used it to uproot weeds in hard lawn turf with zero flexing.I wish the handle were longer though. It doesn't provide much leverage for digging in hard sod, nor much reach for loosening deep garden soil. It seems to be plenty strong enough to withstand the stresses that a longer handle would create. Maybe the DeWit designers will consider lengthening the wood a few inches.Another minor gripe is that the top end of the handle came with a large burr on it that irritates my palm. I'll have to try filing or sanding it smoother.Overall I find the Welldone Handfork to be a useful addition to my tools.

DeWitt garden tools are outstanding quality and design, and worth every penny!!
I absolutely love DeWitt garden tools. I have purchased many of them and know they will always be good quality and good designs for the purpose. They are definitely worth the money! My favorite one is the Cape Cod weeder. It is my absolute favorite garden tool ever!! I have both the short and long handled ones and I have purchased four more of them as gifts. I have most of the DeWitt hand tools and also a variety of hoes and shovels. I highly recommend this brand. The quality is outstanding. This garden fork is my latest gift to myself and I really like it too.

Sturdy and necessary for rock clearing!
Oh my gosh this little tool is insanely helpful when you have more rocks than dirt in your yard and are trying to put in a new flower bed. I bought a few other Dewit hand tools but this has been my favorite so far.

Small but mighty.
You know, when my husband originally ordered this product I was a little annoyed he spent $40 on a little garden fork. I WAS SO WRONG. We had a ton of beds to dig out in the front of our house and this little guy ripped through some of the gnarliest roots I’ve ever seen! Many of our other tools broke trying to dig out the beds but this tool is super sharp and strong. Absolutely worth the price!

Pricey, but just what I needed.
This is the perfect tool for weeding my garden. I weed my garden on my hands and knees, so this is the right size and shape for getting under the roots of smaller weeds. I can't live without it.

It's my favorite tool.
This is much better than a trowel when digging a hole for planting. Loosens up the soil then the trowel can do the lifting. When transplanting the tines loosen the soil around roots, therefore lessening damage to the plant. Using one tine at an angle, it is great to loosen up stubborn weeds.
