UPDATE.I am impressed that the seller contacted me and offered to send me a new battery . This battery is now fitted and is charging as it should and holding the charge. I therefore feel it’s fair to review my original post rating which I have to 4 stars and will review it again in a month’s time .Battery was easy to install as I’ve done it before . The battery is just past it’s return date and it won’t change past 44% . The battery appears to be manufactured 2 and half years ago .

I bought this for my 2012 MacBook Pro. Easy to install and works perfectly. Been using it for 2 months and I'm getting very good battery life. Leaving the MacBook unplugged at night, I'm only losing 2% on standby mode, and when using the device I'm able to get 3 hours + of continued use before I need to re-charge again.It's definitely bought my MacBook back to life. Can't recommend it enough.

If you're unsure then there's always online videos, just search for your model, or simply, just take the back panel off, undo the screws holding the battery, detach the cable and then it's a reverse procedure, job done!A review on here mentions instructions are included in the box to do this, they're totally mistaken, no instructions are included just a leaflet explaining the safety precautions of the battery, a big difference. You do get some screwdrivers to complete the task, these are low grade tools, not the best but will suffice.💰There's currently a 5% off voucher available at the time of writing this review so don't forget to use it.🔋The tell tale signs of a worn out laptop battery are very noticeable every time you switch it on, they are:☹️1. Provided that you know what you are doing and it isn’t necessarily hard as many videos are showing you how to do it on the internet, you will essentially give your laptop a new lease of life.My laptop has a new heart and it looks like it will work as well as the old heart. However, the question is how long will it last…time will tell. But for £29.99, this battery is good value.

Ordered this replacement battery for my MacBook Pro Mid 2010 model as the original battery had expanded and would no longer hold its charge.The replacement battery was easily installed using the screwdrivers that are provided with this kit. The changeover was really simple and straightforward and the new battery seated perfectly.My MacBook is now performing as it used to prior it's original battery issues. It charges relatively quickly and holds its charge well. I'm really pleased with the replacement and at just under £30 at time of review this is a much cheaper fix than taking it to a repair shop.

I ordered this as a replacement because the original battery in my late 2009 13" MacBook Pro battery was swollen, causing the bottom to bulge and the trackpad to lift. Removing the old battery was much more difficult than I anticipated. The replacement battery arrived same day, which was great. I went ahead and installed the new battery, since I had already removed the old battery, and so far it seems to be OK. Time will tell.

REPLACEMENT BATTERY FOR MAC BOOK PROI got this battery for my old 2011 Mac book pro as the battery was not functioning and it was overheating. I was worried about installation but it was actually super easy and the battery works so well. There is no longer any overheating and the power lasts so well. Great value for money. I highly recommend this.
