The smallest 50pt I've owned . Very quiet. I hear only the fan running when it needs to and a very slight compressor start up for few seconds but definitely quieter than many on the market. Simple to operate but read the manual first. Power button and front display continually flash when it reaches set humidity level which I found weird at first. I would have expected flashing when it was working to drop humidity. Its humidity sensor appears to be accurate comparing to my 3 hygrometers in the room. It's a guitar music room so proper humidity is crucial as is temperature. I just got it so how long it will last is unknown . Very fast at dropping humidity in a 10ft x 15ft room in my basement . Usually most sensors have to climatize to the area to become accurate but this has been accurate from the first time it ran. It might cover 3500 sq/ft but I have my doubts due to its size.It would depend on where the area is . Damp basements hmmm maybe. I can't fault it except the bucket is real small but I knew that before buying. If you don't have a floor drain probably could use the drain hose into a larger bucket or pail if looks aren't important. lol I might even buy another one after I've had this a few months or more to make sure its still 100% working as it did new. Another plus is it doesn't put out much heat in fact it hasn't changed my room temp is so little. Update had an issue with it reading humidity at 10% error and running overnight created an odor which I can't identify as to what it was. Contacted the seller to ask what might be wrong and they just refunded me and let me keep it. Weird because I said it works great except for those 2 concerns. If the odor continues I might have to stop using it so I'm hoping it a temporary new burn off in time smell. My review stands as far as the positive I've stated. I might have got one with a few issues

This air dehumidifier can be used in any room of the house - it is very handy to move around as it has wheels and handles, and it’s not heavy at all. Very easy to switch on, minimal instructions or installation needed. Once on, it shows the humidity level of the room, and after it’s been on for some time, the humidity level of the room decreases, keeping your room dry and safely mold- and any humidity-loving insects-free. It’s also beautiful in design, and adds to the decor and ambience of the room. There are 2 settings for noise-level, if used at noise level 1, it’s pretty quiet and can be used while you are in the room next to it, it won’t bother you at all. Once it reaches a certain safe humidity level of around 20-25, it switches off automatically. The water tank inside the unit is pretty easy to take out and empty, and install back on. The product does not require any additional costly filters.

First of all im a HVAC tech … so I know what Im talking about.Bought it last july and never had a chance to try it anyway my house was between 35 and 45% of humidity, last month my house went over 50% of humidity. So I connected it to the wall and set it at 35%, 4-5 days later, I went to my basement, to see if the tank was full because my humidity went higher instead of lower in the house. No water was in the tank, it was completely dry, so I put in continus mode…3-4 days later, same thing, tank completely dry. The Compressor does not kick in.Tried to reach Britsou on amazon but it is not possible so in the review I saw another guy that has problem, he says to go on their website to send email, after 3 email sent in the last 2 weeks , no answer…Also when I go ob their website it says thats since 2 years they dont renew their website certifications and it could be a fraude or an personnal data risk…Everything here is a good experience let me tell you !!1/5 stars because I can’t go 0 or even under 0

Seems to perform well although I'm not sure About the humidity level sensing Accuracy. The main problem is the instruction manual, a copy of the operating instructions is shown above. In particular the humidity settings and timer setting that refer to the boot state. What is the boot state? Also "Wind Speed"? Presumably they mean fan speed. Another item to be aware of, if you wish to use the supplied hose to run The water produced by the dehumidifier to afloor drain etc., be sure to remove the plug which is present in the drain hose outlet. Absolutely no mention of this is made in the user manual. Probably on purpose, but if you set the humidity level to 60, when the ambient humidity drops to 58% the machine still keeps running. I presume there is a two or three percent allowance for whatever reason, but nothing is mentioned in the user manual about it. A quiet and efficient Unit I believe, however statements such as "After the device is powered on only the power light is on in the standby shut down state" in Operating instructions within user manual does make one wonder.

I was looking to buy a dehumidifier for my 660sq ft garage since I do car detailing inside my garage, it gets pretty humid with pretty heavy water usage. Add to that with our cold temperature during winter times, it was imperative to get the moisture level down.I first started to look around other main brands that gets good reliability but found this Britsou dehumidifier and decided to give it a try.I got this unit since October and it works flawlessly. It is well built, love the digital display, easy to use and pretty quiet compare to another unit from another brand that i have in my house.When I wash cars, humidity level can spike easily at 80% but does go down pretty quickly at a comfortable 40% after 3 hours so I was pretty amazed how quickly it just works.I use the drainage hose that i provided and set it up near my garage drain and works great without leaking.Definitely considering buying another unit for my house since this one is pretty efficient and quiet. We'll see for reliability.
