Booma Rein Black Original

went camping up in the VA mountains, I bearly touched my reins. This is the perfect piece of tack for long rides. I still kept it short enough that he couldn't toss his head and the reins go flying but long enough he could have full function of his head (he was on vacation too!) The large loop has a good strong snap, the bungee material seems sturdy too. Once I figured out the metal loops it works really well! I'm super happy I bought it.

I purchased an 8ft mohair rein and when my mare put her head down to graze, I found myself leaning way too far to hold onto them. That's when I thought of the booma rein! It is perfect for competitive trail rides where you let your horse snack where you can to help with their metabolics on long rides. Definitely worth the purchase!

I kept saying to myself I was going to come up with something like this and I fiddled around and "Boom" someone did it. I used it and it is the best invention. When I was cinching my horse he went to bend his head down and was restricted which was helpful then I lengthened it when riding so when we came to a stream he could reach the water and I didn't have to practically fall over his head trying to hang on to the reins.Thank you so much for coming up with this.

I purchased this for my 8-year-old granddaughter because the horse keeps putting his head down and she loses her reins. I bought purple to match her purple reins. It appears to be very well made. When I first opened it I was concerned because it looked confusing to put together, but if you follow the simple directions it's no problem at all. Very adjustable. It should work just fine. I'm very happy

This little accessory works great especially when at the water trough. I don't have to lean forward over my horses neck while he's drinking. Adjust the length and your reins are ever handy. Also an added safety were you to become unseated, ( thankfully I haven't tested this part) the reins will not flip over horses head, therefore preventing him from stepping on the reins and potentially damaging his mouth. Not compatible for split reins unless you knot them.

Upon the first attempt of opening the spring ring, it broke. For a piece of elastic and hardware, the price is steep and had I not ordered online but examined it in a store, I would have known this. Still, we ordered it and used it briefly but the metal was faulty. You can make your own using better parts.

I ride quite a bit with two young girls and we love the added safety of the Booma Rein. We know that if we drop our reins, we can easily fish them back. We also feel better about letting the horses graze while we're trailing riding with the Booma Reins attached. I won't ride without them anymore!
