Enjoyable quick read
The main character was a bit annoying here and there but I liked the storyline. It's not a new storyline by any means, but this felt fresh. The main character (I've forgotten all names as I read this 2 months ago) started off alright and got better as she started to address some issues and was doing well, but at the end when situations got intense she reverted back to who she was in the beginning and negated all progress. That was extremely annoying and I felt it was forced, but I could see how it could be believable as she didn't have that long of personal growth to fall back on. Overall a nice, quick, and enjoyable read, even with my qualms about the main character. Will definitely read another Chu book!

I wanted to like it BUT it moved slowly
I did not hate this book, I liked the concept of the story, but there was something that moved slowly about this book and I kept losing interest. I would put it down and pick it back up and it took me longer than it should have to finish. Maybe it was Gracie’s character and how she handled things.

Devoured it in one day
This is the second book of Ms. Chu’s I’ve read and basically completed in one day. I’m not normally someone who does that. But the writing is engaging. The characters delightfully messy and inspiring. And intriguing romance. I loved it!

Fun Read
I enjoyed this book. I would recommend. It's captured my interest to see a case of mistaken identity in a sense.
