If you sitting on this in the garden, especially on an uneven surface, make sure to regularly check the leg locking mechanism. The weight of your body, leaning forward, seems to often unlock the legs and you end up on you rear-end.

Pros: wider than others, very sturdy, Class 1A (300lb) and felt like it.Cons: maybe a little thicker when folded, possibly a little heavier.Overall: great product, like it a lot.

This step is stool is very well made, will not collapse, is small and light weight. My son absconded with my first one so I've purchased a second. I never worry about it tilting or collapsing - great item! Has a handle for easy carrying as well.

This is a very good step stool to get to the top of your SUV for washing. It's lightweight, folds into almost nothing and has a very clever and convenient carry handle as well. This step stool is much sturdier than a metal one, is made of high impact ABS plastic and wont rust over time from being exposed to water, and it's easy to carry around and store.I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

I keep this in my truck all the time to help my very old mom get into the cab. Also helps me get into truck bed cuz I'm kind of old too! Someone stole my last one that I'd had for years so I was happy to find it on Amazon.

Good for bench seat in RV shower

I actually ordered this to do a step stool exercise recommended by my physiotherapist, and it will be absolutely perfect for that, although I'm sure it will come in handy as a normal step stool as well. It really is extremely sturdy and well made, and I don't doubt it lives up to its high weight bearing rating, probably more so than any other folding step stool. It takes a few openings to break in the locking mechanism - make sure you click it all the way into place - and it's a bit narrow, as you can see in my photo (with my men's size 10.5 foot), but again, it's literally perfect for my use, and still totally adequate for normal step stool use. Really pleased with this purchase.

This works perfect for what I had hoped--swapping recessed light bulbs and doing general work on ceiling items without needing to drag my average size aluminum ladder around my house. I am ~6' 215 lbs and this is easy to work with and feels solid, plus has low profile rubber feet on the bottom for added stability.I just used it to screw a wide return air duct grille back onto a ceiling opening (2 of the 3 screws were on either end of the grille) and the smallish top area of this stool caused no issues performing the task.The center portion which slides into a slot to lock or collapse the stool is held in place by two sections of slightly raised hard plastic in the middle of the slot, one of which didn't have as much tension as the other--so I've docked a star for less than ideal build quality. I doubt it will pop out of position when locked, but if they do eventually wear down over time the looser one will make the unit fail sooner than the other.

I bought this very sturdy folding step stool for my wife to use a a step for her to get into our Van. It is perfect! Just be careful when you open it though at first, not to get your fingers caught. It is the best built and so very strong! Very satisfied with this convenient step stool as it suit our needs! Very nice blue and grey colour too.

Love these. Very solid. And NO slip. I use these for descending squats, for jump squats, and weighted step ups. Not sure the force I'm putting on these with each "soft" jump, not sure the manufacturer would approve lol but I'm 130 lbs and they are solid as ole get out with no shifting.

Great stool for me to get at my higher shelves. A tad small but was able to hold my bodyweight. I love how compact and light it is. Make sure to have the middle handle fully locked in place prior to stepping on this thing. I made the mistake of that and had the item collapse on me -- was absolutely my error. Otherwise I would recommend this product!
