The are perfect for trimming the grass around my individual pavers. They are sharp enough to do quick, accurate trimming and strong enough to cut through one half inch dense moss with grass on top. They were just what I wanted, something like a pair of scissors that I could use in the garden.

The quality of this item was surprising. They are quite sharp and comfortable to use. Fantastic for pruning houseplants!

Great product

I only use this scissor to cut my growing vegetables (parsley, cilantro, mint, basil, habanero) that are soft. They are beautiful and they cut amazing. I clean them with alcohol in a cotton ball after each use.

My old shears were looking battered and I liked the look of these. I didn’t use them immediately. After a few weeks I tried to trim some flower stems - a bit woody but not too hard - and the shears could barely cut through the stems and the effort needed actually took some skin off my thumb knuckle. Ok, maybe these are more for fine work - I just tried to trim some dead leaves off a fern and the shears mostly just chewed up the dried leaves. Not impressed. If I could still return them, I would. I’m back to my old shears.
