Different from what I wanted.... My mistake.
Arrived very fast with the extra shipping.I used the Veritx website to gain more information before ordering. It is different kits. :-( The Veritix offered model uses two earpieces that attach to the helmet. The boom mic also attaches to the helmet. That avoids dangling wires, etc. This is a single earpiece and boom mic unit that hangs on your ears. The transmitter goes in your pocket, so wiring is an extra nuisance. I didn't pick up on the fact that they offer a different set through Amazon.After one short ride they worked well, but the distance for staying connected may be a stretch or requires line-of-sight. I went around the block and it dropped the connection until I was within about 25 feet. Did not notice an issue with wind noise, but neither did we ride in a gale force wind. Still, we enjoyed chatting about things as we rode, enhancing the pleasure of the ride.I'd buy direct from Virtix to get the other set that will mount directly to the bike helmet. I may end ordering the bike helmet headset.

Disappointed
A lot of static while in intercom mode. Pairing instructions weren’t easy to follow. Frame is hard plastic with no adjustment capability for different head sizes. For the money commanded, I expected a great product. Very disappointed.

NO wind noise, great sound!
We have been using our intercoms for a few months now - they are AMAZING! No wind noise, perfectly clear sound, decent distance of connectivity, easy to use. HIGHLY recommend them for any couple or group biking.
