Basically just giant double sided sticky tape. Not very pretty, it's transparent but you can see it's there, but does stop the cats scratching

Ok it immediately stopped my cat from trying the scratch the sofa and is hardly noticeable until it gets dirty. Once removed though, it left a sticky residue… still trying to figure out how to remove it as the training is done and I don’t need to reapply

I wasn't sure about this product but decided to give it a chance. Having recently adopted two kittens they were having a wonderful time scratching the furniture. Stuck some of this on the side of the sofa and they haven't touched it since. Both little demons are using, instead,the many scratching posts we have in the house. Thank you for a very useful product.

Stops cat getting to the carpet but does not look nice

This is literally just 2 sided tape! There is nothing anti scratch or helpful about this tape. All it does it make things (everything) stick to the sofa. No difference to cats. I'm going to bring it to work to use since it's just regular 2 sided tape.

I bought this to apply to the kitchen units, applied really well and wasn’t even noticeable once applied! My cat was most unimpressed when she first tried to scratch them and was unable. Fast forward a week or so and she was “inspecting” the areas which had been covered with tape. She then started picking the tape off with her claws and then peeling the tape away with her mouth once she had a big enough piece to grab. Back to the drawing board for me but could work if you have a less determined cat.

This is the least noticeable method I've found for preventing my cat from scratching the sofas, and it actually works. In fact, she seems to associate all areas of the sofas with stickiness now and has left them alone entirely.I like the fact that it's really wide so you don't need as many strips to cover a large area. This helps with the frustration of trying to seperate the backing from the sticky part. Yes, it's tricky, but I found this tape marginally easier to separate than others I've had. It stays on well. The only problem is that it's almost invisible and you can can forget it's there and brush against it. Even so, it generally doesn't come off at all, it just gets fibres stuck to it. Even these haven't shown up except for a very slight blue tinge once from denim jeans. Easy enough to take a strip off and replace it when necessary though. I won't be without in future.

We have a new kitten, and this tape has completed redirected his scratching away from the couch. As the tape loses stickiness it’s gentle to pull off and replace, though honestly I think we could’ve left it as it’s still a deterrent even when not sticky. Very happy with this product!

I got this for the top of my new guest bedrooms fabric headboard. My cat loves to be up there and lately started hooking it. It worked amazing, he hasn't touched it since!!!!Highly recommend!!

Works great as a cat scratch deterrent for my new furniture. Caught my cat has licking it a few times though! It's clear which is nice but hopefully I can remove it at some point.
