This is exactly what I was looking for, it's sturdy, well-built and I don't see this breaking or becoming useless within the near future. I particularly like the way the keyring has a separate section for the keys and the ease of attaching it to my bag, or clothes. I definitely recommend this key holder

The clip is sturdy and works well so far. After using it for awhile, the initial stiffness of the spring is somewhat lessened, making it relatively simple to remove and replace the key ring onto to the clip using one hand. Don't know why they painted the ring (and clip for that matter); yes, the paint comes off, but it is a nice big ring, easy to get keys, etc. on and off. Obviously, you can use another ring if you don't like theirs.

Works good on duty belt

For tactical applications, you need to be able to remove items (key rings or whatever) from the holder unit with one hand, quickly, easily, conveniently, and by feel alone. These units require too much force to open up the spring detent prior to removing the key ring, which means not just two hands, but awkward twisting around to get a good grip, and almost always, needing to break focus from your environment/situation and looking down to the key ring.So they are not practical in a service application. Not recommended unless you are super-strong. :)
