Very tiny parts that get lost easily !!!
You really need good eyesight with this or a decent magnifying glass and a pair of tweezers because some of the parts are so small that you can't get to them easily using human fingers 🤌 !!!Despite the challenges of building this model kit ' I am very pleased with it '.It's not really a floating model and mine capsized after being made and tested in the bath '.Beware because a 30 second dunk causes all the transfers to come off !!!This is a fiddly kit to make ' but it's a good way of killing time ' and can look great with a little bit of improvisation using dirty rag ' or a paintbrush with a little bit of black left on it ' to give that worn and used look !!!There is a fair bit of flashing on the plastic parts ' and it's not really a first time modellers kit !!!Getting all the paints cost me nearly 20 pounds from airfix !!!The paints are not included in the box for anyone that was wondering !!!I'm happy with mine and think it looks awesome 😎👍I would recommend gluing the life boats to their hoists first ' before trying to fit the hoists to the deck !!!

Interesting - Perhaps nostalgia should be left in the past.
Firstly understand these are 1960 molds , so don't expect any form of excellence.Saying that, it was a challenge, but strangely enjoyable.Points to be aware of.....Some parts are very small and will break.Joining points not so good - get filler.Flash... yep, there's so much it could have its own movie!All being said - I'm glad I did it.Might even try the other vintage classic 1/600 ships.

Not a good product
The spures are to big for the very small parts. Difficult to get off. Most of the parts need filing which is quite difficult on some parts. This has to be the worst Airfix kit I have ever bought.Complained to Airfix but still waiting to hear if they are going to fix the problems.
