Got this late in summer or i could say it has nearly paid for itself. I put it next to me at bedtime when temps are in high 80-90s or more. Sleep great! Quiet. Only criticism is that the ON button works too well. I think if a butterfly lands on a twig in China, this turns on. I usually have to unplug it when I want it to stay off.

For me, this is the only of these products that really stands for its name, an air cooler, is the best of its class, for the people that think this is a air conditioner, this is not a product like that, it help you cool you down, and works better if you put the Evapolar behind a normal fan, but you can’t replace your air conditioner with an air cooler, but have in mind that it really functions and is the best portable air cooler, just have a fully charge power bank and you can use it anywhere.

Small and compact, the fan had good output. Menu is fairly easy to use. Now for the bad. The App did not work and within 10 minutes of running, the fan died. The paper filter was also damage right out of the box. Perfect sized, I just wish it worked.

Really impressed with this portable cooler's efficiency. It's compact but it packs a punch in cooling and humidifying the air around me. Plus, controlling it via app and Alexa is super convenient. Perfect for my workspace and easy to move around.

It cool down 25 degrees in ideal conditions. It is a personal cooler and not an area cooler.

It is so sleek and it doesn't take up any room at all.

After much research, I THOUGHT I found the product perfect for me.Initially upon unpacking I was very impressed. Worked great when plugged into a wall outlet. The reason I purchased this device is for on the go cooling. My intention was to plug it into my laptop or car outlet to give me extra cooling between showing homes and working remotely from different locations.After 4 hours at Best Buy making sure I have the correct outlet for my cigarette lighter(in my car) and correct cords - I came to the conclusion, it will not power unless plugged into a wall outlet.When I spoke with customer support and troubleshoot the device, they gave me two options:1. I could pay to ship the product back for a refund on the device2. Contact the manufacturerFirst of all, it is marketed for mobile use such as plugging into different sources like laptops, portable chargers, etc… and trust me, I tried everything and verified my sources were supplying enough power to run it. I even went to the manufacturers website to purchase their portable charger but are conveniently sold out indefinitely.Now it sits at my home office and is nice for when I’m sitting at home but not at all what I wanted or needed.Pros: low noise level, easy setup with app and a lot of cool functions like the lights changing and different modes. Cool air when plugged into a WALL OUTLET.Cons: marketing misrepresentation, not at all what I intended the product for and I never would’ve purchased if I’d known it wouldn’t work using other outlets.Super disappointed in Amazon support AND I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD BACK from the manufacturer. I’ve inquired multiple times and still no email, call or anything.Save your money unless your looking for something to place on your nightstand or home office

Updated Review: The company reached out to me this morning, saying that they have contacted the manufacturer of the unit and that they have an updated version that takes care of my issues. I am trying to obtain one of the updated units now to try out. I will advise after I receive it. I am impressed with the fact that they contacted me. Note: I am thinking that if you put very cold water in the unit, or ice water, that it would blow that cool out into the room; However, water at room temp would be just a fan in effect.First Review: I put it in my canvas tent (with windows and door shut) with the air inside the tent at 84 degrees and put the unit on 100% full speed. In two hours, it cooled the inside of the tent by 2 degrees, and it used a lot of power from my power bank to do only this amount. When I checked the temp of the air coming out it was basically just a fan with no colder air than the overall air already in the tent. Portable Air Conditioner is what it is advertised in the title and description as, and the information says it will cool "outgoing air by up to 25 degrees F." I returned it for a refund.
