You can definitely tell the difference between an Ace bandage and a knockoff product.

Old school no BS elastic wrap. Nothing fancy, no velcro just clips that do the job. The wrap is thick and gives great compression and doesn’t snag. A bit more expensive but you get what you pay for. Spend the extra and get Ace.

Was not able to make it compress enough for area needed

Worked perfectly well. Nice and thick. The only odd thing was they smelled distinctly “clean.” A very nice smell, like dryer sheets/laundry detergent, but if you are sensitive to fragrances it might be bothersome. I think they are washable so you could always run them through the wash before using if the smell bugs you. Not necessarily a bad thing at all, I just wasn’t expecting it so I wanted to mention it!

Better than using the one use stretchy gauze, but the clips don't stay on. Disappointing.

Good luck trying to get the clips to work. Like if you spend 15 minutes or so working with them you may get them to stay in otherwise you will be searching the floors for them with an injured knee. The bandage itself is fine, perhaps duct tape. I would had never thought it possible to sell such cheaply made products, but these days that is the only option for the masses.

I specifically chose this Ace bandage product because it showed Velcro closure, not clips. I got clips. Disappointed but I need them so I will not be returning.
