Q: How bad are the "buggy" software issues?

its an android phone had mine for well over 2 years and can say with hand on hart I have never noticed any problems with it.... all I do is the monthly security update just like any phone ...It dose what it says on the TIN is a phone a very good camera watch the net videos play games

Q: Any overheating issues while gaming.

No overheating problems at all, the phone has heated up to a warm temperature before, but that was while it was running in "GT mode" (basically the most it can push itself(and max ram used with the +7gb from storage)) and the phone was on charge on a 65W charger whilst I was on a large game. During standard use I have not noticed any temperature increase. This phone is honestly the cheapest, yet powerful phone with loads of features, can easily compete with my previous Samsung S10+, losing in the 'pointless' customisation like animated lock screens, but better performance wise.

Q: anyone know how to get the app draw in English?

I'm using nova launcher but everything is in English, even with the stock launcher. At you sure your have a UK or European version?
