Asthmanefrin is an over-the-counter medication for the temporary relief of bronchial asthma, including shortness of breath, tightness of chest and wheezing. Asthmanefrin can be administered for patients ages four (4) and older. Asthmanefrin is an inhaled solution delivered to the patient via a handheld device known as an atomizer. This product is not a CFC inhaler, and presents no risk to the environment. Asthmanefrin has been used to treat asthma in children and adults for over a hundred years. When removed from the pouch, an unopened vial is in good condition for a maximum of seven (7) days. If the product is kept in the pouch, even if the pouch has been opened, it will last until the expiration date. Plastic vials are recyclable!

Breathing is nice
Looking for inexpensive alternatives for asthma meds can be a pain in the rump. This works for me. I use it in my nebulizer diluted down with a saline solution (Modudose I buy on amazon as well) and I get good results that last without terrible jitters. I use a one to one ratio of the Modudose and Asthmanefrin, one vial each into my nebulizer, shake it up to mix. A few normal inhalations and its done. This is just how it works for me. Your results/dilution ratios may need to be different. All I know is that its nice to breath without wheezing and feeling like I cant catch my breath. This is a real review from a real asthma sufferer. I hope it works for you!

It works!!!
I was highly skeptical of an over the counter product for asthma symptoms because I am a nurse in a hospital where we treat patients for asthma. However, this product actually worked. I don't have bad asthma but a hacking horrible cough every now and then. This completely helped! I am amazed! I mean Albuterol prescription strength works better, but this did work too! That's why I gave it a 5. For an over the counter med, it's pretty effective for this nagging coughing.

Works pretty well.
Ok so first off , I have severe asthma for 3 to 4 months out of the year , only at night from October til around January.I have tried so many control inhalers with no resolve to my breathing issue. I carry a rescue inhaler Albuterol for these 3-4 months due to this issue using it nearly nightly.Recently I had lost my health insurance and could not afford my albuterol inhaler @ $239. Out of pocket.I have to say this stuff is a life saver, I figured with 59 uses left on my rescue , it's worth a shot to buy this and a cheap nebulizer. As soon as I notice my chest getting tight I use this stuff. It takes about 5 minutes to inhale the tiny vile, and about 15/20 minutes to take 100% effect and start to help loosen my chest up to a comfortable level.1. Your heart is gonna beat like no tommorow..so make sure your heart is somewhat healthy.2. Your hands and legs might shake like your in a paint mixer machine but ..honestly that's a small price to pay for not going to the hospital for an asthma attack. This is not supposed to be used as a replacement for a rescue inhaler. Just as an assistant in easier breathing.

It's a miracle
I have been using albuterol sulfate daily for the past year and a half to control my asthma. Some days as much as one 3ml vial every 4 hours. Some days as little as two 3ml vials (night and day). I was fortunate to have local pharmacies in my country sold the medicine to me without prescription. Moved to the US and now I can't buy it without prescription. A visit to the doctor costs more than the medicine, even with health insurance. And the insurance does not cover pre-existing conditions, which means it won't cover my medication.I ran out and ran desperate. I searched online and found one comment stating that this was the next best thing after albuterol. Couldn't find any pharmacy that sells it. So I ordered on Amazon and waited for two days. When it finally arrived, I followed instructions I read somewhere, diluted them in a 5ml saline solution, put it in my nebulizer and just used it until I felt better. Took less than a minute and I was good. That was last night. I haven't felt wheezing or any asthma symptoms at all for more than 12 hours, which is something surprising for me. I finally feel relief of this condition that has been driving me crazy for the past two years.

this past year or so it's been extraordinarily bad. It's kept me from being able to do ...
I was skeptical. I've been suffering from asthma for about 8 years, this past year or so it's been extraordinarily bad. It's kept me from being able to do some of the things I love. I had been going through a box (of 64 tablets) Primatene tablets a week. I'm sure it was destroying my liver but I didn't have an alternative since I don't have insurance. This did wonders. I've been using it for a little over a month now. I haven't taken any pills in 3 weeks. I can breathe. Not only does it function as an emergency inhalant for me but it seems to be making me feel better for longer and longer periods of time. One vile in a nebulizer mixed with saline solution lasts me 2 days (though I'm sure that's not the best way to do it but that's what I'm doing so meh).I love it. I'm glad I took a chance on it.

Works great for me!
Asthanefrin works great for me-my only complaint is that there is no discrete/easy to use travel dispenser for use in public. I’m thinking of trying some of the small (5ml) plastic spray/atomizers. I’m glad to see that Amazon once again has asthmanefrin-just wish it was available on auto delivery. I would also note that the expiration date is May 2019 so this is current and not expired stock!
